I have only had success with FET's.

Our 3rd FET resulted in DD - now 21 months and our 5th resulted in the twins - now 9 weeks old.

All our kids are from the same batch of embryo's so the boys were effectively on ice for 2 years. Oh and also they were all day 3 FET's as well.

Good luck, I hope your little frosty is your sticky bubba.

Thanks so much girls for your responses, you have made me feel so much more positive! x

    Really appreciate it.

I'm going to start acupuncture too if my Specialist has nothing against it. Some girls I know have it the day before transfer and within one hour after. I have had a lot of miscarriages and haven't had any trouble getting pregnant or getting them to implant naturally, so it makes me angry that when it is assisted it won't implant..go figure! Anyway, enough of that. I will think of your fantastic FET stories and pray it works, because I can't face another ICSI cycle just yet.

    Thank You x

Clucky_Rach - I did accupuncture with my FET (not with my stim cycle) and as you know I got a BFP - not 100% sure if the accupuncture was a big reason as to why it worked, but it sure helped to relax me which can only be a good thing! I had a few times leading up to transfer, but the most important ones were the 12-24 hours either side of the transplant. I had one the afternoon after my transfer in the morning.

Good luck hon and make sure you let us know when you start on your FET.

If acupunture will help you relax then I say go for it. I only did it once during an FET cycle which resulted in a BFN.

With the transfer for DD, I was pretty relaxed as it was going to be the last one before I took a break - if it didn't work - and got my BFP. With the boys we had no expectations at all, we just had lots of frosties so I went in again with no expectations and both embryo's transferred worked.

My biggest advice is be as relaxed as possible and try not to put too much pressure on yourself. Good luck.

I will def report back here So nice to chat to someone that fully understands x

Kelly, with your twins did you have two embies or one? That is fantastic. I am with Monash IVF and they only like to transfer one.

    Rach

For all my FET's I had 2 embryo's transferred as from my stim cycle we ended up with 15 embryo's . We had 1 embryo transferred during the stim cycle and then as I had sooooo many frosties and due to my age my FS was happy for me to have 2 transferred at a time.

So the boys were from 2 embryo's taking, which to me was amazing as I now only have 3 embryo's left so it was numbers 10 & 11 that were my boys. I also look at it that if I hadn't opted for 2 at a time then 1 of my boys wouldn't be here today as we only really wanted 2 children - so my boys are truly little miracles (although every baby is a miracle).
