07Mum- Ahhh, the 2ww is awful isn't it??? I'm another who has PCOS and went through all the drilling etc. we jumped straight to IVF after the drilling though as they found that I also had endo and a blocked tube.
We only had 2 eggs collected at EPU from 10 follicles (Talk about disappointment!!)
They both fertilised but doc decided to do a transfer at 2 days as we only had the two and he didn't think they'd make it to blasty.
He transferred one and we froze the other.
And I am now UTD!!! And we have one for a couple of years hopefully!
Good luck to you. I know it's easier said than done but try not to dwell during these two weeks.

Good luck with your TWW and FX it ends with a BFP for you! Here are my details:
How many egg's were collected when you had your EPU? 6
How many fertilized? 2, using ICSI, no less. I was disappointed/pessimistic but cheered up when I learned that those 2 embies were top quality -- just goes to show, it really is true that it is quality, not quantity! And since your transfer was from a blast, that probably increases your odds.
How many made it to freeze? 1 early stage blasty
What cycle did you get your BFP on? 1st stim cycle, from a day 3 embie (since I only had 2 fertilize, they transferred one at Day 3 then proposed to try to grow the 2nd one out to blast and freeze it if it made it; luckily, that worked). We were very lucky! Of course, since I just got my BFP a few days ago, there is still a lot that can go wrong . . .
Hi O7Mum,
I'm at the beginning of my 2WW too on an ICSI cycle. I got a day 3 embie transferred as none of mine were looking very good (6 cell with lots of fragmentation transferred).
Like yourself we did a cycle end of last year but had to cancel due to poor response and that was on 350 Gonal-F on a down regulation cycle. This time I did an antagonist cycle and started on the max dose for my clinic, 450units of Gonal-F....had a slow response again but they waited an extra 4-5 days and I finally started to show some follies. I'm just happy I got to do the whole cycle this time, even if it means I get nothing at the end, its such a relief to know I can respond to the drugs, and its not a waste of time to try again.
Anyway, my stats are:
Number of eggs collected at EPU: 5
Number fertilised: 4
Number to freeze: will find out tomorrow being day 5, but very likely to be nothing due to some even shrinking in cell numbers by day 3!! Like what the!! How do they shrink....little ratbags!!
Best of luck!!
