I'm just on the pill now and I think my injections start the 10th march. Definatley antagonist, it worked well for me last time and its shorter which is better. Anyway theres wtill plenty of people getting preggers around our age so we can so it too!!!

Will you be doing a higher dose this time? I was originally on 225 of puregon then upped to 375, and will do the same dose this time x

Did you use progesterone support after EPU? I had a couple of freeze all cycles, so we didn't use progesterone support after EPU and AF always started at day 8... but if you'd had a D&C, I'd be wondering if there is any lining left to shed.

Most doctors seem to suggest waiting a cycle between stims, so if you're happy to go straight ahead and your FS is happy to go straight ahead, then I would do so.

Wishing you success with the next one.

Not sure about dose. I started on 262.5 then, after my scan it was upped to 415. I guess it will be at least that but maybe more...

If AF arrives according to schedule (on fertility drugs it has been cd 31/32) I will start jabbing in 12-13 days so about 2nd March.

I dont have to go on pill....Is that just to ensure AF arrives??

    Thanks BW...no, no progesterone.

I wondered about the no lining to shed issue but my FS was pretty adamant I would be on schedule (I am still sceptical!). I have had a bit of an issue with too much lining so that may make a difference????

I will probably go straight away --- and then curse myself for not waiting if I respond poorly!

I guess if they only did a light scraping and didn't take everything, then there may be some left to shed as AF. Or is she talking about lining building up and then having a period and starting after that period?

That's the hard part about assisted conception - there are no rules and everyone responds differently and it can be so bloody hard to decide what to do!

I did two cycles back to back and the second one I came so so close. I really don't know how much it matters (especially if your first cycle was poor response)

It's up to what you think you can handle. If the dr is ok with it, I would be going straight ahead again.

    Hi all

    Just a quick update...

I ended up getting my period much earlier than I thought I would. Spotting started 11 days after OPU/D&C and my first full day (cd1) came two days later.

So, I ended up going for it (full of doubt) and am now on day three of jabbing. I have a scan/BT on Monday to check follies and lining and to measure LH for impending surge. I am on 450 iui of gonal f.

Fingers crossed I have made the right decision and this one is a good one!!!

thanks for all of your advice and comments
