Hi...

We are currently wondering which way to go for pcos and slight MFI (DH's sperm test is worse than when we were TTC#1). We can go the IVF route with higher success and higher costs, or the IUI route with lower success and lower costs (but do more cycles).

I have no idea how to make this decision, I keep flip flopping between the two. I love the fact that IUI is non surgical and fairly easy, but hate the low success rates. I also worry that the more cycles I do the more emotional energy I am spending on something with a low success rate...

But IVF is so big and scary, still a bit WHOA to me, I am hesitant to go there yet, but it seems maybe I would waste my money on IUI cycles and end up at IVF anyway?

How did you decide IVF v's IUI, and how did you decide how many IUI cycles you would do before moving on?
