Angry HELP!!! AF Question after First IVF *TMI*

Ok im starting to freak out abit with what my AF is doing atm..... I started spotting (old dark blood) on CD29 of my last cycle (first ivf cycle)... a couple days after that was light pink spotting and then on CD33 i finally got AF ... so now im on cd9 and my AF is super heavy today which has me abit worried (oh and TMI so many blood clots.....some are huge huge... :|)
from abt CD5 to CD8 my AF has been quiet light so thinking she was on her way out but today its back to be super heavy.... Do you think its just my body messing up from all the IVF meds???

I did ask my FS yesterday abt why is my AF still here on CD8 and he asked if it was light.... and i said yep because it was yesterday so he wasnt worried.... should i give him a call???

I'm hoping someone can give me some advice.... or just reasure me its just the IVF med's.. or something

    Thanks

Oh ETA: my usual AF goes for abt 5 days.... the last 2 days mainly spotting...

    Hi Nikki
I just noticed your post, I hope you have rang your FS rooms, and received some advice, post clot bleeds, imo, all things ivf, post bleeding etc, you need to ask your clinic.

    Hi Nikki,

After both of my bfn IVF cycles I had a longer than usual AF (normally 5 with no spotting and ended up being about 7-ish with some spotting after). And the flow pattern was different to my normal AF too. I didn't get it going light and then heavy again like you described, but I did get the clotted stuff.

I hope if you're worried that you will call your Dr about it. That's what they're there for. I think it's probably just the last cycle messing with your body, but I don't know as much as your Dr and it's better to be safe than sorry.

Nikki - what you've described was exactly what happened to me after each cycle... the clots can be from many different things.. but my AF was always extra nasty after cycling

Definately call your Dr's rooms if its worrying you - try not to stress until you get through though hun, your body just had a major shake up with all of the meds, so its trying to find itself again

Hoping it settles down for you soon xxxxxxxxxxx

Nikki - this is the same as my last cycle. Exactly the same with heavy and clotted AF, getting lighter, then heavier again and then tapering off.

:hugs: to you and go gently. Talk to your FS if it's still worrying you though.
