DH won't go any further with our current FS, so we are looking for another. We currently use L ife F ertility. Can I ask - what were your out of pocket expenses including meds for a full stim cycle? Our PHI doesn't cover IVF at all.
My suggestion to you would be to contact the nurses at the clinic as they can give you more accurate details then any I can as our PHI does cover IVF..
I know the nurses at City fertility do have a sheet outlining what you can expect to get back without PHI...
we are currently also looking to change specialists and i am wondering why you are changing from L ife F ertility, this was one we were thinking of trying but interested to hear from others. we have tried a few doctors at QFG without recent success and would be great to get feedback on others as so hard to know where to try.
Our costs at City Fertility (southside) were $7150 (IVF/ICSI) + day theatre fees (we had PHI so only paid a excess of $500)+ Doctors fees ($1240) = $8890
( we got back about $5000 from Medicare )
I went through City Fertility and they are REALLY straight forward, tell you everything upfront and it's easy to understand. I also recommend calling them for info. I did a PGD cycle,so it was more than the standard fees but you do get quite a bit back from medicare.
We spend about 9500k and got back about 4900k.... As I said though, it was a more expensive than normal cycle!
