I cant help much with the process as i did the standard ivf but is it much cheaper? I would think that you would still need the same amount of monitoring to check when you will ovulate (and actually come to think of it wouldn't u need to take something to stop u releasing the egg and then a trigger so u don't miss it?) and once the doc is 'in there' I don't think it's much extra trouble to get say 6 eggs vs just 1.

From what I read it is less intense because you don't have the hormones. It's been great to read lots of different posts and get our heads around IVF and different options as now I feel I can ask questions about things I know a bit more about. It will largely depend on cost, I think it is roughly $1500 - $2000 in Tassie so for us that means maybe 2 goes at it, which would probably mean doing traditional IVF so they can extract as many eggs as possible . That's my thinking anyway but they may say something different !
