Oh I'm so sorry to hear your news and I feel your pain We recently went through IVF with PGD and had 7 embies make it to day 3 for biopsy. Of the 7, they couldn't get results for 2, and the other 5 ALL had chromosomal abnormalities. We were devastated! Of the two that they couldn't get results for, one was because the cell's nucleus was fragmented, but the other one was simply due to the cell contents not sticking to the slide and apparently it can be caused by something as simple as a spec of dust getting in there. That particular embie has made it to day 5 and been frozen. It's so hard knowing that it could be our perfect little embie, but due to a silly limitation of the testing procedure, we can't take the risk that it might have problems like it's embie siblings
It's good to hear that your next cycle will be funded for you. I very much hope that you are growing a baby snug in your belly very soon! Huge hugs for you
Tigerkat,
Im so sorry to read about your loss, how dissapointing to come so far and for this to happen. You must have so many emotions going on, its not something you would even prepare yourself for. I didn't know that was a risk. I really hope your third cycle works for you, Im pleased they will fund you to get you to your next transferable embryo, I hope you do not have to wait too long.

I'm so so sorry to hear about your loss. Nothing I say will make any difference, I know, but do know that there are many women on here you can talk to, even if you don't think you are making sense, they will listen.
