    Hi Trish
I am a newbie too, flitting around threads trying to find where I 'fit'.

Sorry to hear you (and your little girl) are struggling ! All the very best with your journey.

I am starting my first cycle of IVF tomorrow. I'm on a short cycle and hoping my hormone levels will be good tomorrow morning to kick off in the next few days. I am very nervous and a little overwhelmed (so much so I can't remember the exact drugs the FS has me on but will make sure I get a copy of my paperwork from the clinic tomorrow!)
I am 41, TTC#1. It has been a long journey for us, mostly with emotional issues to overcome but we are here now and giving it a shot. We got married quite late in life, neither have previous marriages or kids.

    Thanks for your reply

Good luck with your appointment, I hope you got good news.

DP and I only met 7 years ago so we started late in life trying for a family. No previous kids.

I have started my injection, last night first night. I'm on 45o iu gonal f.

I am trying to look at each stage as a positive step towards achieving our BFP.

Hey Trish & Tussy, just wanted to say hi. I started my first cycle of Ivf just a few days before you. Except I am only on 100mg of the injections each day - they wanted to do mild stimulation but sounds like that's really mild compared to normal? I am unexplained, 34 years old, married 5 years and trying for the last 4 years without success - took 2 years to get through the system to this point where we're finally doing something at last!

Good luck us!!! Stay in touch...

I have a scan on Monday to see how I going. When do you both have egg collect. Hopefully will find out on Monday . I think my dose is high as my ob use gonal f and I only got one or two follicals each side with low dose

Had my scan on Monday, doc was very excited 10 follies so far need to do more injections egg pick up either frid or sat and transfer either the 7th or 8th. I need to call after 2 tomorrow to find out what option based on theatre availability. I am hoping for Friday so I have the weekend to recover too. Bit worried about the anesthetic as I dont go well with it. The gonal f injections will stop either on tue or wed depending what option they go with. Panicing about the real injections a bit have to
give ovidrel as trigger and pregnyl as support. My doc is going away so someone else is doing the procedure which is worrying me to.
