Hey Mel, don't get me started! lol. I really don't want DS to grow up without a brother or sister here. I just feel so down about it all, it's like someone has just shot me down. All this, 'ahh but your results were so good 10 months ago so you should be right' has just gone out the window, unless they have made an error. Oh God, please let it be an error! If you're thinking of another baby hun I'd go and re check the levels. You might be OK but you just never know hun.

Hun, I think definitely get a repeat test done before stressing out too much.

I don't really have any advice for you, but have a chat to your FS and get his opinion.

    Big hugs

    B,
So sorry you are going through this

I know AMH can drop pretty quickly when we hit 40 (which totally sucks) but you also have to remember it is only a guide to success. On paper I have great AMH levels (17.something). Well I did 12 months ago!! But I still don't have a baby. On the other hand, women with a lower AMH have gotten pregnant. You know what? I sometimes think it comes down to dumb luck...
Get tested again for your own piece of mind. But in the meantime remember it doesn't come down to a test.

    Stay strong x

Thanks so much Elocin and N2L

I'm trying to stay calm until my FS visit on Thursday.

N2L, I know what you're saying hun and if the results are true then I'm trying to hold onto the hope that it's still possible to get a good embie that sticks. It's just such a shock to the system though..you know how I said that we have to keep positive and stay young at heart so our eggies stay young too? Well, I'm trying to stay positive, but boy, do I feel old now! lol. Ok, enough of feeling sorry for myself, gotta saty calm and positive...

It's never an easy time is it!! Horrible to have second guess tests. My AMH test was 1.4 & my husbands sperm is not to good either. My FS recommended DHEA before we tried this cycle for three months n fresh royal jelly. We only got one lil Embie that stuck(thank goodness) n are now 13 weeks. Lots of people have low ovarian reserve & with an excellent FS it's possible.
I wish you all the luck possible in achieving your dream xx

Bex, congrats hun! Thanks for sharing your story with me, it gives me much hope GL with the rest of your pg hun!

Just a bit of an update ladies....Went to see my FS yesterday and he basically said that although he is a little bit surprised the levels dropped that much, he is very happy with 3.8. He said that a woman of my age would genarally be between 1-1.5 in the ovarian reserve range. Holly cow!! Anyway, he said that my dosage of gonal was 225 last time (back in 2008) so he said he'd probably increase it to around 300. Then the big qestion was asked about when we should do a cycle, and he again said sooner than later. My DF said that we were thinking anbout November (well HE was thinking Nov) and he said that's fine. I just give up, I really expected him to say now, and I hated that smirky look DF gave me like I was a panic merchant and a drama queen and we still had time. We eneded up having a fight about it later as I said to him that he doesn't listen to me when I speak about things with gut feeling (ie my gut feeling is we should go now and not wait another few months etc). I told him that my opinion didn't matter blah blah blah. I'm over it!

It's good the FS thinks you should be OK but not about your DH.

Why is he holding out to November? That's just increasing your stress.
