what does this mean, anyone had such a high level before transfer before? i never have. of course now i am worried, i know that too high progesterone is not a good thing. even when i was pregnant my progesterone level only got to around the 170 mark, and nurses told me that was great. i havent googled yet, but im heading there now... anyone got any experiences/advice about too high progesterone?
hey andie, I am not sure, but I know I had high progesterone levels when I got pregnant! so it can't be a bad thing. When my progesterone is low I usually have to increase my pessaries! GL
Not sure if this helps, but when I was on clomid my CD21 progesterone was about 200. OB (was being monitored by an OB back then) said it was very high, but called an endocrinologist just to check, she said it was fine.
Hope all is ok, good luck
thanks ladies. i guess i was a bit worried bc i had my levels checked before trigger too and lh & progesterone were going up, but bt was inconclusive so FS had me come in for a scan to check that i hadnt ovulated. scan showed follicles still there and in tact, so i guess the only thing im wondering now is if my progesterone was too high (before trigger), which is not a good thing and can mean your body and uterus are out of sync for transfer. (am i making any sense at all?!) i think i am just overthinking it... cant do much about it now i guess anyway.
my progesterone was 710 when I got the BFP in July! No one has heard of it being that high on here So won't worry - what will be, will be.... and it wasn't a molar or anything untoward (which is what they worry about... so...)
just go with it, and enjoy the moment... (as much as you can anyway!)
I'm going to be a hypocrite here and say 'stay off google...'.... as DH keeps telling me... there is such a thing as too much knowledge
