    Progesterone levels during 2ww

Hiya, I have just had an unsuccessful HRT FET cycle, taking progynova 3 x daily plus 2 progesterone pessaries 3 x daily throughout. I have always had really huge pms-y sore boobies, bloating etc etc from natural cycles and my first ivf cycle yet last month (natural cycle) and this month with prog support - absolutely no symptoms. Honestly did not even feel like I was taking any progesterone. Anyway, this got me really worried that whatever support I have been taking hasn't been working so I had a progesterone done on the bloods which gave me my BFN (still waiting for AF from this FET). It only came back as 39 which to me seems really low.

Please can anyone tell me what my progesterone levels should be at in the 2ww, given I am on the yucky old pessaries?

    Cheers
    Melissa

I have a rough idea the 1st half of a natural cycle should be around 1.5 to 2 and they like to see anything over 10 after you ovulate to confirm ovulation during a pgd ivf cycle the 1st half of my cycle was 1.5 to 6 just before i had my trigger then it went up to 40+ for the 2nd half and i did not have a embryo TF my FS said my levels were normal hope that helps.

    Sorry for your recent BFN
Your progesterone level is actually quite high hence why AF hadn't shown at BT. Sounds like your FS had you on a fairly high & good dose of P4 support which would have been a great start if you had had a pg resulting. P4 naturally starts to drop if no pg results 10-12 days after ovulation.
In first tri some clinics like P4 to be anything over 30 to support pg. I think your levels were great for a FET.

Dusty and Ferrals - thanks so much for replying, my symptoms were just so non-existent compared to my natural cycles and stim cycle that I got worried - you have put my mind at ease. Thank you
