Lightbulb Synarel - why do you need it?

    Hi Ladies,

When I first got my IVF protocol from the nurses, the Dr said I was to use synarel on an antagonist cycle. Then he changed his mind, removed synarel from the protocol and I really don't know why he did?

Does the Synarel benefit in some way that I am now missing out on? One of these days I will have a clear understanding of the process, but until then, sorry ladies, I need your help!

    Kim xx

synarel stops you ovulating too early basically. It is not needed on an antagonist cycle because you are not doing all that flattening of the hormones beforehand like you are on a long down regulation cycle. I have never used it on an antagonist cycle only on a down reg one. They will probably just monitor you a bit more closey to keep an eye on the egg growth so they catch them at just the right time....be thankful cos the nasal spray is feral!
