It depends on the project really. I taught myself both, and I know how to do more in crochet. I basically only know knit and purl stitches for knitting. If it's a scarf I'll knit it, but anything else is generally done crochet. I think crochet was easiest to learn
That's gorgeous! I'd love to see the scarf, crocheted scarves fascinate me, mainly coz I've never done one And no, my only problem with buying wool is stopping! I have a huge tub full of different wools, I'm trying to think up projects to use them coz Professor doesn't want me buying any more, lol.
You can definitely overcome it HotI! Tension comes with practice. Maybe you could get a novelty wool and knit yourself a scarf, and that way you can't see any differences in tension? Would be a great way to practice as well
