Don't mention the grey pubic hair - I'm devastated!

How many people remember the Bay City Roller chant? Or that Bucks Fizz had more than one big hit. Who remembers when countdown went from B&W to Colour?????? Heck who remembers coutdown??

Maybe have it as an open forum, like the young people's forum. That way anyone CAN join in, but most of us will not "get" most of the stuff.

Then again, I feel like that anyway. Countdown's still on the telly in the UK.

This sounds really good, I'm safe just turned 40, we can talk about going grey together

    Regards,
    Dianne
I don't think that comes with 40 - I've been grey (or had lots of them) since my mid 20's! But I'm all for an over 30's as we 'get each other'.

I used the term 'kitchen tea' yesterday and got the weirdest look from a gen y'r.

    Nanu nanu, Maz.

Pandora, there was a feature on the radio about the Monkees' TV series just last month. I only saw a few of them but I wish the somewhere in the endless repeats the TV people would find room for The Monkees again! Them and the Goodies. And the Goon Show. And a bit of Python.

Gosh - I grew up to Countdown, the joys of having much older siblings. When ever they show some Countdown flashback I actually remember watching it. I do remember having a tantie when I could not go to the ABBA concert that everyone else was going to.

Oh and Shirl's Neighbourhood. I still have Norm the Kangaroo sitting beside my bed

We didn't get a lot of the TV shows because we were regional, so we only got ABC and WIN. So I remember endless amounts of The Goodies, Dr Who with Tom Baker as the Dr and Monkey Magic and loved them all.

I think 'Old Fart' can also be defined as anyone who remembers all the dances that everyone did for Footloose, 500 Miles, Bus Stop and the Nutbush at Blue Light Discos. I know a lot of young folks think they are mixing it with the old stuff because they know the Nutbush, but until you know all 4, don't even bother calling yourself that ROFL. That and if you wore bubble skirts (now renamed as tulip skirts), flourescent colours, ski pants and high waisted acid wash jeans.

    Ahh yes Agro
I wanted to go into the City and see INXS and my Mum wouldn't let me.
I was a country girl too.
I still have my Nintendo game and let Oscar play with it. It is Donkey Cong, anyone remember Turtle Jump and Oil Panic?

Don't remember 500 miles, but do the others. Got to love the dance school that taught Jazz Ballet.

Your an old fart if you used to hang out at the ice skating rink listening to Eye of Tiger whilst playing Frogger.
