    Storing wool.

How do you store your wool? Box? Basket?

I really need a better way of keeping mine all in the same place. Ideas/suggestions welcome. (Preferably nothing too expensive.Lol)

In a big storage box in the hall cupboard, the actual wool is in big ziplocks so its moth safe and the acrylic is just jumbled in there.

I have some of those big plastic tubs, and I've separated the different types into plastic bags in the tubs. I have 3 tubs full!

Only three tubs K? That is hardly getting warmed up when it comes to having a storage problem (don't ever let anyone tell you it is a wool problem - it is a storage problem!)
My wool is in big ziplock bags in rollaway tubs under our bed (um yep - I sleep with my wool!) I also gave cedar balls in each box as it deters moths without it getting the mothball smell.
My current project(s) I keep in calico bags in a cupboard on the loungeroom so that I can just grab one easily.

Don't getting me started on my fabric storage issue

I keep some of mine in those clear plastic shoe boxes. That way I can keep them sorted by project or type of yarn, keep the stacked neatly and see what is each one at a glance. There is also a box of potential project yarn in a box in one of my expedit cubes and all of my WIPs are kept in various cloth bags with all the notions needed, ready to go if I ever get to be a passenger in a car! (they also come with me when I watch the kids in the bath - the biggest uninterrupted knitting time I get these days!)

Thanks for replying. I'm sick of having my stuff scattered around the place in bags. I just need it all in one place.

Muppity - Storing under the bed is actually not a bad idea. I might do that actually.
