Families with 5 children

It's not on the table for us but really wouldn't change anything (except my career ). We have two boys in one room, one in another and our DD in another. All three rooms have bunk beds therefore we have an empty bed in a boy room and an empty bed in the girl room already. I don't think I could do it in a smaller than 4 bedroom house though. I also have an 8 seater car with room for extra kids. So honestly I doubt 4 to 5 would be a big deal. I suspect 3 to 4 would be a bigger change as it involves an upgrade from a regular to a plus size car, but as I didn't personally experience that change I couldn't say for sure

Trav that's my thinking too. Our change was from 3 to 4, we have a 7 seater, and we wouldn't want to rent smaller than a 4 bedroom house anyway. My 2 middle girls share a bed so both the baby and DS have a room to themselves anyway.

Well I didn't have 5 for long but the plan was for my triplets to share a room (as they do now) with a double bed and a single bed. DS would of had to share with Soph (or DD1/2/3, basically whoever got along best).

I was in a family of 5 kids, living in a 3 bedroom house. Basically my three brothers shared a room, my sister and I shared a room, mum and dad had a room. But when my older brother became a teenager he had his own room which was a part of the lounge room that was converted. Then I had it as there was a six year gap between my sister and I. Basically mum and dad made it work however they could with very little money
