I have a super easy short hair cut. After having long hair for 8 years, I took the plunge and LOVE it. I was very honest with the hairdresser that I would do NO styling, don't even own a hair dryers and don't use styling products. I wash my hair and then comb it and that's it. I think it probably depends on your hair dressers and also your type of hair. I have a side part at the front, and it is long enough to tuck behind my ears, it is short, quite short, at the back with short layers in it. It can't go up in a pony tail. It is great!
