I too felt we lost a little girl hope, and if she is to come again she will.

Kat mg your kidding, what , is this kid giving you trouble already? Must be a girl. So when r u going to go back to docs? Could you do another test at home and see what this one comes up as? Don't feel like a nut love, our bodies like to keep us in suspense .

jesabell sweetie if crying makes you feel better than do it, you have every right to feel all the emotions you are. If I was close enough I would be your own personal punching bag, but hey, I'm a woos, so you would have to go easy on me!!!

Wonder how many more pregnancies we will see pop up soon.

Soul, if you and your not so little family can find your way over here, you are more than welcome you know........and i've even solved the cooking dilemma............I've decided that you and I can both put our feet up and natter natter natter, while all the kids.......blimey it must be 12/13 between us eh? They can all run wild and do their own thing - whatever, as long as they leave us alone!!! And last but not least......have decided that dh's can be in charge of all the cooking!!!
Well, what do ya reckon....good innit??!!!!..

Soul, you can "SO WAY" have a VBA2C at the John Hunter.
They told me that after a c/sec, they like you to have 6-12 months before another pregnancy...to make sure the scar won't pull apart, basically. The scar actually ends up stronger than the other uterine tissue when it's well healed. It's like a seam in fabric. However, one of the doctors told me privately that as long as there were at least 3-4 months before another pg, he wouldn't worry too much.
I have know several people who've had a VBA2C at the John. Personally I've had 2 c/secs: my first, then 2 VBACs, then another c/sec. Both the c/secs were for completely different reasons. As you know when you've had both, there is no comparison in terms of pain and recovery.
They won't let you deliver in the birth centre, but I think Delivery Suite is OK too, and one of the DS rooms has a bath in it. You can request that room if it's free. They want you to have monitoring, but it can be intermittent--you lie down with the monitor every now & then for 20 minutes. That didn't bother me. My 2nd VBAC was actually an underwater birth, which was the BEST ever. The midwives are very supportive because the JHH does a lot of VBACs.

Jes (Sharon), how did it go today?? Thinking of you. HUGS. Hope you got some good answers.

Lea - I meant does your dh know that he's on cooking?!?

Glad to hear things went well at the docs Jes.

We are getting out the telescope tonight to see the Lunar esclipse my cp boy loves the stars.

Castle - my 2 best births were water births and were wonderful, they were also my 2 biggest kids!

My birth history is varied - 1 caesar, 3 inductions, 3 premies, 1 high blood pressure, 1 plancenta failure, 2 early waters breaking, 3 mc, my last I bleed heavily throughout whole pregancy. Thay say no 2 pregnancies are alike and I agree. Keeps us guessing!

Jes i am so glad that you got some answers today and that things will be under control very soon!

Well i did another HPT today and got a still only light but there just the same. Have been feeling quite dizzy today but i have been flat out so you get that. Still have to go and have another Blood test on thursday to double check but at this stage it certainly looks like we are getting a new addition to our family!

We told the kids tonight and they were all shocked and saying oh Mum !!!!! Eldest DS says don't you know whats causing it yet????
They are all taking it relatively well so that is a load off our minds.

I really like the sounds of having a VBA2C, that would really make me feel so much better about this pregnancy. I am hoping because my hospital was so keen for me to go VBAC with all my girls that as long as nothing goes wrong they will look just a s kindly to me having a VBA2C!!!
Fingers crossed but i have a few other things to worry about first, like getting a full blown at my next blood test! Then of course there is the whole edd, i know when my last period was but will play dumb just to get a early scan so that i know everything is where it should be IYKWIM! I read somewhere last night that after a CS there is a chance of an ectopic pg as it is possible that they could have kinked a few tubes and stuff! I truly hope this is not the case but will be looking for an early scan just the same!

Did anybody else watch the lunar eclipse???? Halltribe did your DS love it??? My kids were fascinated
