Jes, i hope Clarissa settles down for you soon, i have all that to look forward to soon i think.
Jay, sorry to hear that about your Mum, it's really sad isn't it, and so frustrating when you can't do anything to help her. I asked a question in the conceiving thread before because i got a (TMI) green blob of CM today and didnt know if it was normal or not. The replies i got back are that some women get it when they are PG, so now my hopes are up damn it !! can't test for another 5 days at least though !!

    hi soul,
    thankyou for the welcome.
we have picked the names if its a girl (which as i think hubby has forgot how boys are made its sure to be which i think may be better anyway lol)
    Ariarna brooke elsie
    and if its a boy
    Samuel raymond.
after 4 girls i found it really hard to come up with a girls name that was unusual but not stupid sounding, and as for my boys name well if it was up to hubby he wanted to call it Barney (boy what that poor kid would cop at school).
i like my boys names to be strong .

My signiture means "Half Heartedly TTC" letting nature takes its course! Took 10 months with Pheen so who knows this time!

Lea's right vicki, they are all mad cows around this place, except me, I am the one who is constantly trying to pull them into line! Its a hard bloody job, but I love them all enough to take the real of "Boss"!

Hi everyone, i know i have been quiet for a couple of days now but i am half back!

Welcome to the newbies, you will all love this thread as you get a good laugh when you need it, an ear when you need it, a shoulder, a recipe! You name it its here

Well i have had an interesting couple of days, starting on Thursday. I got up and (TMI WARNING) went to toilet and a big smear of reddish pinkish blood on the toilet paper, not good when you 8 weeks pg. Had pains in tummy too. So didn't take Mitchie swimming, and got into the doc. She ordered bloods and an ultrasound. Thank god DH managed to get off work to be here for me!
Had the bloods done and then went over for ultrasound at 2:40pm after spending the rest of the day in bed! I was so prepared for the worst that when he said i am going to need to do a transvaginal ultrasound , i was like yeah ok. Then he says there is DEFINATELY a LIVE feotus there but will hopefully see whats going on better this way!!!! Well i nearly burst into tears then and there!
So we do the internal ultrasound and even got to hear bubbies heartbeat, that was the most beautiful sound in the world at that point! HE couls see no reason for the bleading or cramping btu said bubby looked good andnothing appeared to be going wrong there !!!!
So then back to the docs yesterday and show her hte ultrasound results which she was happy with and then get blood results. HCG levels 18,500 and progesterone levels 41. THis is apparantly really good for an 8 week pg so makes me very happy. I even checked on the internet and yes levels are gret. Doc says this may just be onbe of those pgs where i will have to have regular bloods and ultrasounds to keep an eye on things! So if i still spotting and cramping next week i have to go back again.
At this point my CM is still got the reddish pinkish tinge and still getting some pains and trying hard not to stress!

    Anyway thats my update
I hope you all have a great weekend and chat soon

OOOOOOhhhhhh i just realised that i have my avatar !!! Hav eto go and say a huge thank you now!!!!! How exciting!!!!!

I decided it would look a bit cramped with all my tribe in mine so i decided a heart for each child would be perfect!
I am so happy with my new me!!!!
Anyway i have to get dressed and go do some shopping, only for a costume for DD Tamika as she has to dress up as a fairytale something or other for her school concert!

Chat later if anybody comes on!!!!

Jess, its a difficult age isnt it. Hope the overnight stay helped things cool down.

Welcome frazaled....wow how exciting for you. Its nice having a gap in the ages though..feels like a first all over again! There is almost 7 years between Olivia and Sammy so it certainly felt new for us!!

Hello everyone else!! Im mostly lurking...i keep popping on while i am writing as essay..its a nice distraction. Glad to see you are all doing well.

Thanks Jo i love the new me too!!! Yep definately going to be slowing it down a bit! I guess i just have to be realistic, i will just have to focus on BF mitchie baking bubba and going a bit slower when it comes to running around after the others!! I have taken it very easy since Thursday, and will not be going full strap for a while yet! Things are looking up tough , no spotting since this morn so thats excellent!!!

Hey soul how is your weekend going?

Hi lea it was aperfect day here too,i hope they all enjoyed the bike ride.

I was extremely nice and took kids to see their grandparents on DH side for the afternoon.
It frustrates me that they can't travel the 25mins to see them but they can travel all over the countryside for everyone else!!! Anyway i was nice today, and as always they absolutely loved seeing the kids. IT just doesn't make any sense to me but oh well! SIL offered to have DS over there for the weekend so that she could take him to work and give us a break from travelling over & back all weekend. So that was an offer i was not going to refuse, she is lovely, she lives with their parents but they never offer. At least someone looks out for us occasionally!

    How is everyone going?
Anyway i am off to bed now to get my much needed beauty sleep

Hi all and thanks for the welcome
its great to chat to people with large families and to know that we all go through the same or at least somewhat simalar things and as for the going mad bit thats cool with me im not sure i would notice any differance as im sure im there already lol.
kat, i have a very close friend who had 8 heavy bleeds(like a very heavy period) in the first 15 weeks of her pregnancy they couldnt find any reason for it at all and her little boy is just beautiful, so hang in there its one of those things though you see blood and you just know thats not right so we freak a bit.

the 7 year age gape is a little weird but not that bad there is 15 years between me and my sister so i know can be ok,the thing that worrys me this time is the labour i know that seems silly after 5 but my last four were so easy and quick im just hoping this one will be that way to and everyone else going on about my age ok so im 35 but gee thats not exactly old anyone would think i was 60 lol .
well i hope you all have a great weekend mine is as always totally consumed with dancing my three youngest dance but at least it was nice weather to sit outside a hall for 10 hours( i shouldnt winge its a nice chance to catch up with the other mums)
as for teenage girls well with 2 already there and 2 on there way all i can say is good luck you will need it ,it is the most frustrating time of there life and therfor yours as well but there is light at the end of the tunnel or at least thats what i keep telling myself (hay we all need to dream).
    night all
