Just letting you all know I'm still here, lol. My kids have been really sick with gastro, but its not the one that lasts 24hrs and you're better. Each child has had it for about 5 days, so all I seem to be doing is trying to mop it up from both ends (tmi, lol). Thats probably the only downside to this large family business - when they get sick, poor little things.
-
Awww Nat...what a time to have gastro...hope the whole family is better soon.
Jo
-
Thanks Jo - its rotten isnt it? The big kids are back at school and my little boy is better, so only really have 2 down with it at the moment. DH and I are ok thank God.
-
Oh Nat..I prey you don't get it hon!!! I got it at 34 weeks with caleb and it's the pits...
You don't have long left..good luck sweets!! I bet you can't wait to get your body back!! No kicks, belly etc...my sis is due fathers day and has bad morning sickness can't keep anything down and is so tired..she has had it!!!!
jan xx
-
Nat - I sympathise with you, but it is much worse for you bien so close. ATM I have Jemma chucking, Josh has an ear and throat infection, Jordan is complaining of a sore throat and Jess is just recovering from the chucking, runny nose and cough too. It is awful when it goes through everyone.
Jan- your poor sis, time to have the bub by the sound of it. Hope she goes bf fathers day.
well all the sickness in thehouse is my news lol. Am thinking of bed atm
Can't wait to sleep lol
hope you go soon Nat
-
JO, I found the jump from 2 to 3 big too, but the 3 to 4 was bigger, probably because the gap was big.
Congratulations Nat!!
Hope everybody is recovering from all this sickness going around.
-
well another one bit the dust at my place yesterday
Jessica started throwing up on the way home from school pickup, in the car....so nice.
She is ok today though,m and Josh is back at school too, so a little quieter in my house.
Congrats Nat, better go check the announcement.
hugs

wow,we just took a trip to sydney by plane and i couldnt beleive how much stuff we had to take, including the porta cot, stroller, carseat and luggage, gosh imagine what it will be like when we have this next bubba.
hhmmm....
nikki
-
LOL Nicole that's exactly right. It is very hard to ravle with little ones
We are going to Mackay and the gold coast in april a wedding/holiday, and I am glad that Jess will be 2 and a half and Jemma will be 4, so I will not need the protacot, but just taking a stroller. nd as we will be using public transport we are not even taking a car seat for Jess. Doesanyone know how it works with babies in taxis. Do you have to ring the taxi and ask for a baby seat? I have never done it so not sure. The prob for us is we are flying from Mackay to Brisbane and need to get to the Gold coast from Bris and the only way to do that is to go on the train. So the least amount of extra stuff we have the better. We will have 2 huge cases and 4 kids to deal with and don't need to carry a car seat around.
not doing much today, sewing and cleaning, the girls and I made chocolate chopchip muffins. Jess has just gone to bed, she is very whingy.
Anyway better get back to the sewing machine, practicing all the xmas designs I have and getting stuf ready to give to my aunty to sew together
-
Thanks for your congrats girls. I am now officially a mummy to 7. He is so gorgeous - every time I look at him I want to have another one. Sshhhh!!!!!!!!

Big congrats Nat! Don't worry we'll keep your secret!! Wow Mum to 7.
-
Nat- you are truly amazing lol, when will you stop lol, maybe you will get to dpouble figures. congrats again.
-
Congratulations on number 7 Nat.

Hey, i only have 3 kids (under 3. so im crazy enough there...!) But im the eldest of 6. There's 10 years between me and youngest (our ages are 22, 20, 17, 15, 13 and 12) We use to get called the brady bunch (even though we're all from the same parents, and there's 4 g and 2 b...) But i loved being in a big family, there was always someone to play with (or pick on!) and always jobs to do...
-
Congrats Nat!!!!
Well done on no.7!!!! Hope all is well, your not too sleep deprived!!!:)
BTW..Father's Day is here and my sis still shows no sign of this baby coming...poor thing..she's not sleeping at all and has had it!! Labour vibes to her:p

Hope all your dh's had a great day yesterday. Arron was tryng to sus out how much I spent lol. I told him nothing to incriminate myself. I prob spent more than I should but he gets pressies 3 times a year, need to make sure he gets something good.
Simone, sounds like lots of fun in your family with all those kids.
Josh is back at school today, still on antibiotics though. The girls are all well too, which is a good change lol. Jess has doine nothing but eat lollies since Sat. Which was her 2nd bday. She had a great day, and is now the owner of her very own dollshouse. she also got 2 dolls, and a pram form other people and some money which I plan to put towards clothes, although I may look for a mumm and baby for her dolls house too. And she also got the little people ABC set. My cousins 21st wa the \same day so we went out for lunch which cost us $83 no wonder we don't go out much lol
anyway hugs to all
-
OOO Michelle, I know what you mean about not going out much, even Macca's costs us $30 so not worth it.
Glad the kids are all well again too!
-
And the movies!!! That is mega expensive!!!
Jo
-
yeah thats right, Maccas is same for us $30 and so is fish and chips. we took the kids to the movies last holidays and only paid for 2 adults and 2 kids so not too bad but next year we prob won;t get away with that, We passed Jemma off under 3 years old. I would like to go to the melb museum this holidays does anyone know how mch it is to get in?
-
ooh my ticker is wrong lol Says Jess is 1!! I wish lol guess I best check out what is going on.
-

Wish I could get there myself I love the museum!! well worht the trip..would love to go to the Zoo too but will wait till the summer program is on cause it is open till 9 pm and there are bands and stuff playing around tea time and you pack a picnic tea and they keep it refridgerated for you and then trailer them to the eating area at abot 6..it is great!! Will find out when that is...and maybe we can all make a day of it with our families??
Jan xx

The zoo sounds fab Jan. What a great day out that would make! Hope the tonsillitis clears out soon & your Nan makes a speedy recovery!
I've been really busy over here too! Sorry!
How is precious Zain going Nat?
-
Oooooo it's gone really quiet in here!!
Hi everybody!! :)
-
yep IU have had no notifications from anywhere guess I should investigate that lol
I have been very busy
Spent all week sewing and packing stuff to take to the local market today and hasd only 3 hrs sleep last night and would you believe I got not one order for anything, and sold 3 bibs and a tshirt and made a profit of $17. Mum and I shared a site, which cost $20 between us. I am very tired and very disappointed, will try one more time next month, hopefully will do better in the market closer to xmas.
Hope you are all well
-
Oh dear Michelle, that's a shame you didn't sell much.
Atleast next time you wont need to do so much sewing!
We are just coming to the end of our school holidays, it's been really boring! Dylan ( my eldest) is grounded for waging school, so I've made a point of staying home. Talk about cabin fever! LOL They are all back to school on MOnday. Zac isn't going to like it, but Mummy sure is!
-
OMG Storm,
I hear you on the school holidays front.
I know it sounds awful but I am so looking forward to school going back. My babies haven't slept properly in the day for two weeks now. They are over tired and I am just over it.
Michelle, sorry to hear that you had a disappointing day. Hope the next time you go to market, you sell heaps.
-
Thanks girls you make me feel better lol
Oh I hear you on the routine being stuffed after school hols, my house was trashed and I couldn't catch up on the hols, and I felt so down by the end of them.
Cheeky Bugger your son is STorm, wagging already??? Hope he doesn't do it again.
Tiff I think the more kids you have home the worse it gets lol ANd your house wouldn't be peaceful for a second I am guessing.
-
No, peaceful is not a word I would use in this house!! Hehe
-
Yep well same here. I am the most talkative person but in my house I am the quietest lol My Tv is always on full bore and if it isn't the kids it is arron doing it.
By the way I love that pic of Noah and Ivy, look how lovely and Podgy they are lol I love chunky babies lol So cute, godh though can't believe that the are 10mths, where has the time gone??
-
Hello everyone..keep forgetting about this one. Michelle thats a bugger you had didnt sell much..though bet as it gets closer to Christmas more will sell?
Storm...um mah Dylan! Things to look forward to eh? The girls go back to school Tuesday too..i love the holidays though..its fun doing things with them..though weve had sleepovers for the past few nights so im enjoying it just being my kids KWIM. I think Sammy will hate it like Zaccy.
Tiff like Michelle has said your babies always look so cute and happy and placid...what little characters!
Weve had a busy holidays..didnt go away but just the normal fun holiday things like movies, drive in friends etc. Darren has been working flat out so its been a bit lonely on that front..oh well its just that time of year.

Hi,
Haven't been for a while. My youngest is not sleeping through the night as yet and she is nearly 12 months old. Have been feeling the effects of sleep deprivation the last couple of months and been very teary and tired. At the moment I have taken on a cleaner to clean my house until I can get her to sleep through the night. She is on Zantac for her reflux but not sure if this is working so I am going to get back on to her paedaetrician next week to find out what else I can do. She is also wearing boots and braces on her feet at night due to the fact that she has a club foot and I don't think this is helping as well.
My other kids are fine. My oldest is in his last term at primary and will be starting high school next year. Luke who is 10, competed in his first year in soccer and went through the season undefeated minor premiers and premiers. My six year Melissa is doing well at school now and all the tears at the beginning of the year have gone. She has been very popular with the kids at the moment because she has been to nine parties so far this year. Jayden my four year old is enjoying preschool at the moment but not so when the kids were on holidays because he had to still go to preschool.
Michele
Mother of Christopher(12), Luke(10), Melissa(6), Jayden(4) and Ashleigh(1 next week)
-
hugs to you Michele, it must be hard for Ashleigh with the calippers. Poor Jayden having to go to kinder anyway when the others are on holidays, I would be cross about that too if I was him
My eldest also starts high school next year, she is getting nervous, but I know she will be fine. Joshua is always doing something he shouldn't, yesterday it as magnets on the tv screen which stuffed the colour, luckily after being turned off a million times it fixed itself. Jemma and Jess are watching playschool atm, and I am procrastinating, need to put the 2nd load of washing on and hang the first, but am not feeling 100%, got a head nose throat thing and feel utter crap. Went to Ikea yesterday and spent up. Arrons bday is on Friday so I have to figure out a present for him, got a cd and a fishing mag subscription, but want to get something else to go with it. Have to go look at the hardware I think.
have a good one
-
hi busy mums,my eldest is starting high school next year also, can you beleive it,it feels like yesterday that they started prep.my middle child is 8 on saturday so a birthday here aswell.i am taking him to toys are us and giving him money to spend on himself rather than presents this year, they enjoy it so much more, and then out for dinner on sat night.
and baby girl is sick at the moment running a fever so not sure what is going on there.

Oh NO! I have another going off to high school next year too! It all seems to happen way to fast.
Nikki, hope Chantelle is feeling better.
Michelle, hope you are feeling better too.
-
Another one hear with one starting high school!!! How scarey is it! I want to be excited for her but Im very nervous about it too...the high school she is going to is huge!
Nicki hope poor little Chantelle doesnt get too sick poor little darling. Do you know what you are having? Bet Chantelle will be wrapped either way!
Arrrgh at the magnets on the tv Michelle.....thankfully the kids skipped that!!! Hope Aaron has a nice birthday and hope you are now feeling better!
Michele sorry to hear that youve been so sleep deprived. Our little ones like to keep us on our toes dont they. If its any consolation Sammy hasnt slept through the night once yet either lol....hes easy to pacify though with a quick boobie feed. The kids all sound like they are doing really well.
Its been busy as always here. Ive had a funeral today. My Dh's cousin was killed in a car accident last week...but its kinda nice to have the funeral over and be able to move on a bit KWIM. We have just bought a horse too for the girls. They are pretty excited..shes supposed to be delivered sometime this week.
I cant believe there are only 6 weeks of school left....arrghh..i have done no shopping at all! Best get onto it..though Livvys turning 8 next week so have to finish shopping for that too..she is having a princess sleepover party..its going to be lovely for her.
Hope you are all having a lovely day.
