Am I being mean? (stock on land)

I feel your pain hun I really do.

My sil "borrowed" one of my smaller jenny craig paddocks for her calves without asking (which is just rude but she needed a sheltered paddock) one of her blasted calves keeps climbing through the fence into my other jenny craig paddock .... I guess the grass is greener. This morning I found the wretched little thing in my back yard she moved him back in with the others but he is back out there in the other paddock as I type this. I like to have about a month resting time before I move my animals from one paddock to another and while I have 1 massive paddock I am not going to be able to have the boys out there while I am trying to grow the grass for hay bails am I

I hate how people just assume things are ok when it comes to other peoples land and live stock. I think if you are hard feeding your horses then you were quite diplomatic I would not have been so nice. If the steers are not gone by the specified time then you should just ring your neighbors and tell them they can leave their steers in the paddock but pay for the hay you are having to feed to your horses!

I know NaeNae they just assumed they could leave them in with next doors sheep last week without asking (but the steers got in our property anyway) the people with the sheep don't live there, now they want to leave them with us another 3 weeks. They just assumed that would be alright like they just assume the whole neighbourhood will help them round up the steers everytime.

We've had 4 years of it, I'm still feeling a bit mean but I'm going to stand my ground. Just things like the wife walking off when I was still midsentence and the husband saying "haven't you got enough feed for the horse"

These people have got money they're business owners they're arrogant and just being tight and expecting everyone to run around after them.

FM ... i don't speak to my neighbours at all by choice for certain reasons which i won't bore you with here in Ballarat (near Golden Point) ... and we live a stone throw away (too close for DP & my liking) ... infact my neighbour next door knocked on my door yesterday cause one of her kids was playing on the fence & fell into my back yard ... it was the second time we have spoken and the 1st time was when she first moved in next door about 18mths ago ... felt strange chatting with her after 18mths but i thought i like my privacy and she seems a pain in the b@tt anyway (screams & swears at the kids all the time) ... so good choice by me.

FM ... give your neighbour NOTHING ... no help nope nothing he & his wife don't deserve you as their wonderful neighbour after their poor efforts in conversing with you ... Their plain rude, let them learn a lesson ... no ones too old to learn a lesson

I read a story in the newspaper about a month ago about a man here in Ballarat or nearby having enough of his neighbour's dog coming onto his property so he shot it ... terrible & sad situation BUT lucky your neighbour didn't have him as a neighbour
