Calling All Right Handed People

yep watch on right wrist when i wear one jase thinks i am nutty for this he can handle cutlery but the watch drives him batty

I'm righthanded but eat with the fork in my right hand. I get strange looks when I swap cutlery around & DH always has to make some comment about it

Oh wow - you "weirdos" would have driven my mother insane!

I have vivid memories of her taking our plates away and cutting everything into little pieces when we used our cutlery the wrong way around. At some point we also had cutlery that was moulded so that it was only comfortable to use the "correct" way.

I'm right handed and usually if I'm cutting food I'll use my left hand to hold the fork and right hand to cut with the knife however, if anything requiring scooping is involved (like peas, mash potato etc) the I'll actually switch hands in the middle of a meal to scoop the food up with the fork in my right hand and use my left hand with the knife to help get them on the fork.

Sounds weird when I say it though lol

fork in left hand when using a knife... if no knife, then fork in right hand.

i feel unco with the knife in my left hand!
