Not sure where else this thread would fit! Hope it's ok here!

My little niece leaves for France next week for over 3 mths on student exchange! She is 16 (17 in October) and I want to get her a little going away gift. Was thinking a bracelet with a good luck charm on it but was going to see if anyone else had any ideas? Needs to be light and portable but something that will make her feel closer to us and home while she's away!
