I am glad I am not the only one!
I hate phone calls...coming or going.
I get anxiety attacks over making or receiving one (especially when I don't know who it is) a phone call.
DH used to do them all for me but now I am on my own I have to do them...and I am getting better.

... I definitely feel like a fake adult most days but being on the phone amplifies that haha.
Yep. This is how I feel.
I hate the phone. What makes it worse for me is I live in a foreign country... Although my language skills are passable in most situations, I get so anxious on the phone I forget everything and sound like a complete idiot. So I usually just let the answering machine get it and get DH to do the calling for me.

What's wrong with us (me too)? Reading these comments I couldn't help but chuckle because seeing it in writing it seems ridiculous.

I have always flat out refused to answer the phone at work, I've even let it ring out rather than answer it. At home I'm good to answer calls but not I hate making them. I can call my family, but not friends. I actually hate talking to friends on the phone.

I'm so glad email and texting was invented.

Ahhhh, I have my phone preadmission interview with the hospital today... already freaking out... they say it should only take 20mins and it is the same Private Hospital as last time so I sort of remember what it is all about >.> I can do it, I can do it, I can do it.

I'm exactly the same. I get sooo nervous making a phone call. I don't answer the phone at home once DH is home/close to being home.
I screen alot of calls. If someone rings on the mobile I don't know, I'll most likely not answer it.

I tend to slur my words a bit if I get too nervous. Which makes it so worse.
