On the immunity thing. With a cold that's actually not true. Given the amount of strains and the mutation that occurs it's practically impossible. Otherwise we'd have a vacc for the common cold, and we don't. Doctors I have spoken to don't believe that colds build immunity.
like cai said there are around 70 strains of the common cold! as you get older you get less colds but thats because youve been exposed to more (strains) not because youve built a better immunity!
if my kids are sick, we dont go, simple as that, like cai a simple cold (actually just a runny nose) for us ends with DD getting an ear infection.
Thanks to you all. i am glad that im not the only person not wanting their child to get sick. I am not the one to say no you can visit as your sick, but sometimes i wish i was!
