Would you ask first?

Maybe she hadn't questioned it in her own mind - just like me. I have a hard enough time explaining to my own kids why i cry sometimes.

I may have now completely changed my mind.

I don't think I would take someone elses child to a grave site, but if I had to I would definitely ask first and I would expect someone to ask me before taking my children.
A couple of people have taken my kids up to see their dad without asking, but that is different because it is their dad.

I can totally understand why you'd feel that way. I'm glad he didn't end up going after all. I would definitely ask the parent first (although I don't actually think I'd take someone else's child with me).
