I would much prefer that to feeling pressured to buy and book a party.... Could you get everyone to bring their fav recipe for you to add to your repertoire??
It is really brave putting yourself out there. Well done!!

I'm going to be honest and say that I think everyone invited would think it was a lovely idea, plan to go, BUT if something minor came up (eg they felt a bit tired, felt like doing something else) a lot of the people wouldn't think much of cancelling either. So just make sure you invite a lot of people., and try and get a few certain attenders (eg your best friends/siblings etc).
I hope it goes well; will you invite BB people too? (I'm in WA... hint hint.. :P)

I'd go too. I don't like going to party plan things because we never have any extra money and the pressure....oh the pressure! So a morning tea, where I'd be happy to make something, yeah, I'd be there for sure! Go for it!

Black_Rose - you sound like me. None of my friends have kids either........where are you in Melbourne?!!!!!
