Has anyone stayed at the Chateau Beachside in Surfers Paradise?

I'm staying there for the weekend with my partner and was just wondering how your experience was, how the staff were, was the room clean/nice? I'm thinking about springing a surprise on him but would need staff help.

Any reviews or pictures would be greatly appreciated

Ashlee I have never stayed there but friends have. The room was clean, it isn't anything spesh though IYKWIM. We go there quite often for breakfast, they have the best all you can eat breakie on the coast.

Hi there Ashlee,

We stayed there for a week in October 2005. It's not bad for the price, the lift **** itself a few time, so we had to use the stairs. We had dinner and brekkie there as well, ver nice. Close to Cavill mall as well.

they have an all you can eat buffet breakie which is ok, they are renovating the foyer/ restuarant area so not sure about rooms etc..

The breakfast buffet was fantastic, we loved it.

We stayed on the 18th floor and the elevator hated it...it opened once between the 17the 17th and 18th, and kept getting to the 18th floor and going back down!!!

There was no balcony liked promised so I was pretty p!ssed at that, luckily the location and view made up for all the other stuff.
