    If you're feeling crafty, you could create (and frame) a couple of scrapbook pages with photos you've shared, with some fine words.

    Any more suggestions? I'm not confident in sending perishable foods, not sure how food would go in the mail...

    Do they drink tea or coffee? You can get some nice gift packs with coffee or a range of types of tea and these are not perishable (although fresh coffee is not great in the post).
