DP works in Melb as an IT business analyst !!

Lets just say i can get my hands on very cheap Berlei lingerie, brands of sexy heels sold at Myers, & Sheridan linen ... yeh, nice ' mix ' put together

... and for the kids, Bonds babywear/clothes & Clarks shoes (i make friends with Mum's very easily, LOL )

Until the end of next week he works for a corporate event company doing sound, lighting, staging, etc. He's quite proud of the fact that one of his first jobs when he started there was David Beckham's product launch of his new fragrance (this was at the end of 2007). I'm still miffed that he dumped me in hospital for a week so that he could do it!

After next week, he'll be national tech support and prodcut development for a cash register importer once again... He's returning to company he used to work for about three years ago, doing the same job as before for almost twice the pay as before (they realised how much they needed him when he left!)

Min is a Line Leader in a large Australian Smallgoods company. He basically gets to boss a lot of people around and zoom around on a forklift all day! He works very hard, and takes a lot of pride in his work He has been there for about 12 years now.

On the weekends and two nights a week, his is a pro AFL footballer...oh and a AFL footy coach who has millions and millions to spend on players when heis doing the supercoach thing with the herald sun, and in the summer of course he is a professional cricketer.......(well, in his mind ) Aren't I sooo lucky!

(Actually I am very blessed, he is a wonderful Dad, I was even able to go back to work when DS was 4 weeks old, cos DH had the whole juggling two kids thing down pat! He even does the creche run on the day that they are there each week.)

My dh is a chef, as am I.
We are self employed, have had our own cafe nearly 8 months now! love working for ourselves.It's hard work but rewarding.
Before that we were both working in fine dining restaurants in melbourne

DH is currently a carer loking after disabled people in their homes. Before this he used to be a nurse.

He has also been a chef, and a roadie for rock concerts (pity that this was before I met him, I would have loved to be around and seen some of the concerts he worked on).

Cool thread Some of these jobs sound interesting - and what a varied bunch we have here!! All walks of life, etc Isn't it great that we can all come together because we have one thing in common (being parents!) even though we are all from different backgrounds?

My DH is currently a shed-hand in a scrap metal yard. Prior to that, he has made a buck from doing IT, working in a paddle-pop stick factory (I kid you not, we make paddle-pop sticks in town here, so think of my DH every time you treat yourself to an ice-cream!), a few office/retail jobs (as in, places like Officeworks/photocopier repair businesses), and... dealing (which, funnily enough, is how we met... those days are long gone now though!!).
