I won't do my dd's until she asks. I don't see a reason to do it if she doesn't even really get it. I don't wear them myself so I'm hoping that means it will be quite a while before she asks.
Eta- just thinking, I think I would say no even if she did ask. I don't think I would have them done any earlier than 5. She's got really cute ears and I don't want to change them.
