Hi there, my friend recently went through her first IVF cycle...they got a staggering 16 blastocysts! I have never heard of anyone getting so many. They all had to be frozen as she over-stimulated. So far they have had two failed transfers. Her FS now has told her they recommend only maybe another one or two transfers, and if no luck, to do a fresh stim cycle, as all the oestrogen in her body from the last cycle might have 'pickled' the eggs so to speak, can affect blastie quality. Anyone heard of this before?
