    Chiro in the TWW

    Hello,

I'm currently halfway into a TWW and I have a Chiro appointment on Thursday night - do you think it's ok to keep this appointment? Has anyone been told not to do this? I asked my nurses this question ages ago and their answer was to do whatever I felt comfortable with.

Would love to hear your opinions.

    Thanks

Hi Infinity, I am normally a pretty regular chiro goer, but I seemed to never go during the TWW, I think I was always just a bit sore after EPU. And when it was an FET, I was also of the mind I was a bit sick of people manipulating, poking, prodding, doing things to be, I sort of just wanted a break. However, as long as your chiro knows how to treat pregnant women, you should be fine, I think it is just a personal decision.

Sending you a truck load of sticky vibes for your TWW, xx

i went to the chiro in every TWW - i just asked that he go easy on deep tissue massaging at the time as it's not recommended in the first tri due to the increase in blood flow potentially being too much for a developing fetus. i have been seeing my chiro for ummm 12 years now, and i could tell the difference in treatment when i was and wasn't cycling. he was really good about it!

Thanks BG, makes me feel more comfortable about going. I'll just let him know what's going on with me so he can adjust his treatment.

My dad is my chiro, and I've been fine seeing him when in a TWW. he specialises in paedeatric chiropractic, so he's really gentle all the time.
