hi everyone,
i'm new on the forum, it's just great to read someone else's story.
I have been diagnosed with idiopathic infertility......
3x iui (negative)
2x fresh IVF
yesterday had 2 FET transfered (day 5)
my nurse said I don't need the progesterone support but I have been using it for 2 days now as my nurse said it was up to me.......
I did a "natural" FET in December last year and used progesterone suppositories twice daily from the transfer day until my beta was due. My FS said he didn't think they were really necessary but he prescribed them anyway since that's the norm.
I've not heard of having too much progesterone so I don't think it can hurt? I'd be more worried about not having the luteal support when there's so much emotional/financial investment.
I don't feel as worried anymore, I also spoke to my clinic nurse and she said I don't need progesterone!!
I have been using them for 2 days and might as well stop, I just feel so depressed but at least i have not done any harm as you have been using them as well.
It's so confusing and I can't make any decisions at the moment.
Are you doing a cycle at the moment??
Oeps just saw your link.....
Goodluck
Thanks again

You certainly didn't do any harm, so please don't worry. Progesterone isn't harmful, in fact it can help in a lot of cases. I wish I could have it but my FS said I didn't need it!
Going through a cycle is always so confusing, but just trust in your heart that you have made the right decision.
I wish you all the best with the blood test, fingers crossed it's positive for a bubs.
