    Private Health Cover Provider? Who?

    Another question for you all!

I'm currently with HBF, doing IVF procedures through Hollywood (one of the Ramsay group fiasco places). Now that my IVF is starting to ramp up to the next level, costing more money etc... I thought I'd research new Health Care Provdiers.

I know some will and some won't waive waiting periods but I'm doing the research now, it may bloody take us 12mts to save enough to do IVF anyway!!!

So.... if/when you went through IVF and assisted reproduction procedures, what Private Health Provier were you with and did you find them helpful? Did they cover much of what you were doing?

    Thanks so much!

We are with HBF and have heard about the dramas with the Ramsay hospitals - sorry you have gotten caught up in it. HBF suits us really well as they have always directly paid for our day bed and anaesthetist without me having to pay upfront and no gap.

Yes probably join his fund, you might find because he's been with them for a length of time, that they will waive waiting periods, etc. Yes, because you are over 30 you will probably be subject to the extra premium, however, because your husband is adding you, as a family kinda thing, they might not charge this. Ring them and weight up the pros and cons.
