    Hi ms_kty,

Sorry it's taken a little while to get back to you - I'm not able to log on very much with only ocassional internet access.

Yes, Medicare funded my back to back cycles. I wasn't aware of Medicare requiring 6 weeks between stimulated cycles in order to fund them, but because my cycles were down-regulated I assume that they're not technically back to back stim cycles, in fact there was about 6 weeks between treatments, when you include the 4 weeks or so of down-regulation. It could also be because one stim cycle was last year and the following on was this year. Not entirely sure.

But, yes, it seems that back to back down-reg cycles are ok with Medicare funding, but I would check it with Medicate to be sure.

Hope this helps, and that you had a good chat with your FS and have some answers to move forward

    an update

Miss C - thanks for getting back to me

...and to all - an update.....we saw our regular FS on Saturday and he confirmed that we can do back-to-back stim cycles and Medicare will fund them - yay! We also discussed his plan for us and we'll try Luveris next time (if we turn out not to be pregnant next Monday), so we are looking forward! Once again - thanks for your support!

    Great news, ms_kty!

Glad to hear that you're able to move forward without the stress you were feeling when you first posted

Lots of good luck for Monday, and if you're not pregnant, then I wish you all the best luck for the next cycle, hun.

    Miss C
