This cycle is a natural FET for me. I had no meds before transfer and have been doing progesterone pessaries since transfer (and low dose aspirin, but I'll explain that below). Leading up to transfer, I just had b/w to monitor my hormone levels to detect O and then had the transfer at 3dpo. He never even did an u/s... As some have said above, the progesterone is probably not necessary, but won't hurt and gives a little extra peace of mind.
I'm also started taking low-dose (100mg) aspirin after transfer because I used low-dose aspirin after transfer for our last IVF (which gave us DD) and my Dr is a big fan of "we know what worked last time, so we'll do it again". I probably don't need the aspirin either (didn't take it for my last BFP and had no problems with implantation), but it is unlikely to cause any harm, so I have no problem taking it.
Thanks for your replies, girls! When I get to do the day 1 phone call I'll have a chat with the nurse and ask her just to clarify what's needed. I don't mind doing the pessaries, like some of you said for extra peace of mind, but I thought it would be a bit weird having to do a trigger injection. (maybe I've just made that up myself? Seeing that I haven't spoken to them since July...)
Hi TTL77! Thanks for responding! Was excited to hear about your little ones, congrats! My "natural" FET was with a trigger injection and twice a day pessaries from 3 days after trigger injection till day before blood test. We did get a chem. pregnancy. We had a bit of a break in between due to me marrying and getting ready now for the 2nd FET, waiting for AF to show up. I suppose it will be with trigger injection again and pessaries :$ I'm already dreading it. Hopefully it'll bring us the BFP we so want...
