Yipee, Sara! You are in with your best chance yet Thrilled that you have come this far. Just goes to show that whole FSH business might as well be flushed down the toilet!!

Cuddlepie - Hun, I am truly sorry this was not the cycle for you Are you still thinking of looking into those implantation tests? On the plus side, you have managed to conceive before with IVF so at least it remains a realistic option for you xx

Buliej - Glad that you had a relaxing long weekend - you deserved it. Good luck with starting the herbs, etc again. Taking a month off will give you extra time to have the DHEA kick in, too. Take care xx

    Meredith - and hugs

Wow girls, I am truly touched by all of your support and cheering on my little embie - it most certainly heard all the cheers and they helped it to get there, thanks so much.

Meredith hope things are looking up and DH is on it's way home soon.

WTH: Thanks so much for your support, hope things are okay for you - can I just confirm the bag of tricks: it's tomato juice and garlic for the moment, is that correct?

CP Thinking of you. I am so sorry this didn't work out, very much hope the tests will give you a result which helps you to move forward and get your BFP very soon.

Buliej: Glad that you had a good weekend, it's amazing how quickly you have picked yourself up. Agree with WTH that it's a good plan to wait another month because of the DHEA - you're supposed to take it for about 12 weeks to have its full effect, if you wait two cycles and take it up until EPU you've already takien it for 10 weeks. For WTH and me it seemed to already have an effect after only taking it for six weeks so hoping that you will also see a good effect.

WLAB: Nice to hear from you, withing you are you about to start another cycle?

Kel: My TWW buddy - hope it's treating you kindly, I've already started to overanalyze, also wishing good luck for your BT tomorrow, hope OHSS is kept at bay.

Kate: Nice to hear from you, hope you are closer to your decision.

    BW, Loula, Mr Pink, Mollygirl.

AFM: Already planning for the next cycle jus tin case. Thansk to BD I've found out that Dr Lok is an expert in the empty follicle syndrom and found a research paper and how to treat it that he has written. Otherwise I have Acupuncture this afternoon (unfortunately they couldn't fit me in sooner) and looking forward to that, I've taken the day off work and now finally want to bake the cake ( Nectarine and blueberry tart) that I promised DH for Easter

    Have a great day

Sara - that article sounds interesting - can you PM me the link (if not, let me know & I'll PM my email address if that helps). I wonder if what he has learned can be applied to low quality eggs as well. STICKY VIBES TO YOU!!!

Sara - in the 2ww I continued with my BM Conceive Well Gold, DHEA and Royal Jelly plus the extra B-vitamins I take, a glass of Tomato Juice (which I now loathe), 2 eggs at lunchtime, some low dose garlic tabs and Ferro-Grad C. I still take the blue-shaded stuff plus a PG multi, but stopped the green-shaded ones as soon as I got the +ve BT. I really took things easy for the first couple of days after implantation. Spent lots of time slacking off and early to bed . Tried to stick to warm or room temperature drinks, rather than cold ones (to fit in with the Eastern idea of a warm womb). GL hun!

Sara - slight typo above about taking things easy - was after ET, not implantation

CPie: Sorry this cycle was not the one for you hun

Sara: I looked at the artical, and I quickly got confused. Coudld you explain it in lay man's terms. I dont want to forward it to my fs and have her say "it's not for me"

    Hi to all you ladies

Hi WLAB - I think basically it says that he had a patient who had had trouble with empty follicles (many follicles but no eggs) in previous cycles, he then changed something about the trigger and all the follicles had eggs during that cycle - since I had trouble with the same issue I'll ask my FS to look at it - there is also a thread on Essential baby talking about this issue.

Sara - ooooh I've only just logged on and SOOOOOO excited for you. You have a great chance for this to be THE one. And what a fighter, only 1egg to 1 perfect embie.... what a miracle! Praying the next week goes as quickly as possible and we see some happy news very soon

CP - I am so, so sorry AF arrived. Its just not fair. I hope you can get some more testing done and get some answers. You really have been through to much already

Buiej - glad you were able to enjoy your w/e. I think I would have been a mess so well done!
Glad you are comfortable with some time off. Hopefully it does your body and mind some good.
When do you see Lynn? Interested to know if she has any new thoughts for you

Kel - When is your BT? We are all hanging out to hear how you are doing

Meredith - you sound good...I'm hopeful that means that you've had your appt and all is good - I know you can't post here but I'll watch the other threads!!!

I see Lynn on the 22nd - getting the referral tomorrow. I also told my current FS that I'm getting a 2nd opinion- she was very nice about it and is writing up some information for me that I can bring to Lynn. I am not sure that I want to change to a program that only does 5 day transfers but am very interested and what she says and will keep an open mind.

    Hi everyone,

Sorry I've been MIA, been pretty crook. I hope you're all doing well, and that things have settled down for everyone. GL to everyone who's cycling. Thanks everyone for asking after me.

Sara: How are you hanging in there?

Everyone I missed: Sorry I missed you, and

AFM, three very, very faint BFP's over the last three days (you know, the ones where you have to twist the test in the light to see them, but they have colour and a definite line). My progesterone BT from yesterday was 59.6, so I'm hoping that that's a good indicator. AF is due on Saturday, so I'm getting nervous as hell. Beta is scheduled for Wednesday but FS said that I can go on Tuesday if I simply can't wait. Any advice on the P4?

Kel - a line is a line - from everything I've read, POAS tests do not register false positives - sounds very promising. If I was you, I'd go for the BT early but I usually can't stand the wait.

    Hi Girls,

Kel: It's a good sign, I would go early for BT - it sounds like it's a pretty late date in any case - when was the transfer again, it was a 50 day transfer wasn't it? At SIVF they test 11 days after transfer.

Hang in there - every day without AF is a good day - if the worst thing happens at least you got there onces so you can get there again - at least that's what I am trying to tell myself, I know it doesn't really work but we may have to try....

Hi - any tips on which POAS are the most reliable ones and when could I start testing - had 1500 Pregnyl on Wednesday night...

I've never used Pregnyl, so can't help with that part. I have personally found First Response to be a very good/early detector POAS test. I never even used first morning urine as I would buy it after work and then not be able to wait.
