    Morning ladies,

Lu, are you with the male dr M L? I think we have had this conversation before but I've forgotten hahah!! I am with him too.

The frozen cycle is so so easy (well they are making me believe it will be). I just phone nurses on the first day of my period, go for bloods and scan on about day 10 and they track it til they work out exactly when I am ovulating, and then they put the embie back on the right day - 5 days after I've ovulated! Then I go through hell for a week or so, and eventually find out if it has worked!

Jess - how are you feeling today? How is the bloat going? Any ideas when trigger will be?

    Hi to everyone else.

    Hi Ladies,

I hope you are all having a good day. Today is definitely better than yesterday for me.

JBear - I have only started accupuncture with this round but already I am huge fan. I am with you and the fingers crossed for healthy eating and accupuncture working.

Bright*future - Thank you for asking. I am feeling better, I think I am starting to adjust to the bloating and I managed to drink 3 litres of water yesterday. No news on trigger yet, scan and bloods tomorrow. Should have more news tomorrow afternoon.

So glad to hear this site is helping lots of people. I think G really need to set up a once or twice a week chat night where ladies can get together because even when I go in to get a blood test we all start to spill our guts and chat about where we are up to. So nice when other people really know what you are talking about.

    Good morning ladies,

Yesterday afternoon was a bit of a struggle. Just anxiety and tiredness I think. Had scans and bloods this morning, nervously awaiting results but feeling better than yesterday afternoon. I am getting hugrier and hungrier. Does this happen to any one else?

Bright*future - you are a gem, thank you so much for checking on me. I am doing okay and will be sure to post this afternoon when I get a call. Feeling like I could do with lots of hugs but hubby is carrying germs atm and think he might be coming down with the flu.

Luisella - I know what you mean about the bloods, first blood test, first round no one spoke. Second blood test in first round I smiled at this one woman and we just spilled our guts. I knew at the time that not only I needed to talk about this thing. So look for the friendliest face, smile and spill. I would definitely go to a chat group though. Just being on here makes me feel better, imagine how good it would be to sit around over coffee and just talk about it all. Reckon someone of us could be there all night

Better do some work. Later ladies.

    Jess

    Happy weekend ladies!!

    Jess, how are you going??

Lu, I've been trying to figure out where you are up to, sorry I'm a bit slow! haha!! Sounds like you had a good cycle last time, where are you at now?

As for me, just enjoying the weekend, we are desperately trying to get a few things organised around the house before we start the FETs - new wardrobe, new ensuite, clearing out a lot of excess furniture and things that are just here to catch dust!!

Enjoy your weekends ladies, make the most of it!!

    Hi Ladies,

Lu - I would like to join the congrats, that is very exciting and very much deserved after bad rounds. It helps restore my faith in the process.

Bad day yesterday, two rotten headaches and some serious cramps. But let's just hope that means the 10 follicles they counted on Friday all have eggs in them that are a nice big healthy size.

Another scan and blood test in the morning. Hearing for Friday for collection at this stage.

Smiling because I can see some sun through the blinds, I hope you all have a lovely day. Thank you for asking after me.

    Hi Ladies,

I hope you at all having a good start to your week.

Had a scan this morning, looks like we are down to 7 potentials but they are still too small. Another scan and bloods on Wednesday. Fingers crossed they all keep growing well. Feel pretty bloated and sore.

    How is everyone else going?

Question for you - does anyone else call the nurses at G or their FS wit random questions? Made a call on Friday with a few little questions and was sort of made to feel like I was nagging.

Hi everyone....been in the background just seeing what's going on. Seems like most are in Sydney going through G. Been a few inquiries about other clinics who offer PGD testing. DH has Huntington's and there was no way we were wanting to pass that on. Being in Newcastle we went through Hunter IVF who used Monash IVF to do the PGD testing. Work up took about 12 weeks before we could start. Was touch and go in regard to egg harvest as they seemed to take their sweet time growing. From 9 eggs harvested, 8 fertilised, 6 were good enough to be tested but we only got results from 3 with 2 unaffected. We were very lucky to be blessed first time with our DD who has just turned 4. Have just started back to try for another. Saw my FS last week and advised they now use Melbourne IVF for PGD testing. Hopefully we won't need to go through that again as we are hoping for a FET. Still need to have a couple of natural cycles before we look at transfer.

Wishing everyone good luck with their journeys!

    Hi Joe,
Nice to hear your story & congrats on your DD! So blessed to have a success first time round! Well done! Very very best of luck as you go again, good luck with your FET!

    Hi Jess,
How are you feeling today? Hope your follies are behaving - not making you too uncomfortable and growing nicely. I know what you mean about the nurses. In the end I would write a little list of questions and wait until the next time they called with results next to ask. It's a balance between respecting the fact that they are busy but also that we are paying G a bloody huge amount of money and that is what they are there for!! So don't feel bad, I am certain they would have had worse patients!

Lu, hope you're having a good day already!!

    xo
