Hey sunbeam, how r u? they convinced me 12 week scan is not needed cos I am having the amnio at 15 weeks. I am regretting not pushing to have it anyways (for peace of mind) but its a bit late now to try & get one.

Hope the rest of u are enjoying the weekend xo

Congrats Andie on your BFP! Hope it all continues well for you xx

minniemouse thanks for thinking of me....still stalking you all, wishing everyone the best of luck!!!

AFM a bit in limbo at the moment. After the d&c was bleeding for 2.5 weeks which wasn't much fun and then seemed to get Af a week later albeit a short light one (to be expected I suppose after bleeding for so long). Don't see FS for another 2 weeks to see what path we will be taking from here. Still need to convince DP that we should go again. He has reservations as he thinks with his HD having 2 kids and him to look after will be too much for me to bear. But isn't that up to me to decide? He doesn't think that he will be able to handle having a newborn in the house either with his mod swings that we are trying to get under control with some new mess. But I don't understand how so much could have changed between now and when we did the FET in Sep? If everything had gone to plan I would be almost 14 weeks by now. A bit too late to be changing one's mind me thinks. But FX he will come around & we can start again in the new year.

Wishing everyone a great week ahead xx

joe - i hope you can talk your hubby around, goodluck for your upcoming appt.

afm - hcg is now 833 (17dpo), so there is definately something going on in there (i hope its just one thing going on in there... not two...). im relieved, but still a long way to go. scan will be around 10 dec, so again i will wait another 2 weeks for that. im nervous, but things look good on paper at the moment, so trying not to stress too much. question - when/if you have had a bfp before, does your clinic continue with progesterone support or get you to stop? the nurses have told me i dont need to take it anymore, but im a bit nervous about stopping?

how is everyone else going? xx

Andie - Whoo yay fantastic numbers. I really hope this is the start of a smooth, easy and happy 9 months for you. In answer to your question I'd be on prog till 12-15 weeks. Personally I'd stay on it if I was you, it will do you and bub no harm at all and can only help if your prog does happen to fall.

Joe - I'm sorry you are having a rough time with DH and I hope you are able to talk him round

Sneaking in- Andie my FS told me to stop taking them as soon as I ran out (2 days after positive BT) I freaked out as well but didn't have any spare so had to stop and 14 weeks on I have had not one single problem. Congrats BTW.

Andie - You stop at postive BT if its a fresh cycle, otherwise 12 weeks for frozen cycle. Even for my natural FET they said I would have to be on prog for the 12 weeks. I stopped mine (this one was a fresh) and so far so good. If your unsure get a prog test.

    hi everyone,

andie: when i got my positive earlier this year the clinic wanted me to stop progesterone straight away, i was nervous and i wanted to stay on it (which i did), in the end it work against me because once bub stopped growing and i stopped the progesterone it took my body over 4 weeks for my body to wean off it and for the miscarriage to happen. Im with sunbeam though, it can't hurt and so i would continue it if it makes you feel better

sunbeam and elle: not long now for you girls

joespratt: sorry to hear you are having problems with your DP, its hard to know what the right thing to do, you don't sound like you are ready to give up so i hope you can sort things out with him

j.bear: shame you missed out on seeing bub again, i wouldn't have been able to not have it hehe

afm: so after a lot of debating we have decided to go with the long cycle, there were lots of issues but i was really worried about having 2 lots of frosties as we have never had any before and i don't know how they are going to go, i start the pill today
