Babymama23: Thanks so much, i'll try and remain calm ha ha, just got back from an acupuncture session, she is going to try and help me reduce my FSH, I told her do what you have to but make sure it sends signals to my ovaries to produce a good couple of eggs ha ha. That would be typical wouldn't it if you were due on your friends wedding day, but in a good way, life has a strange way of working out sometimes!

Well girls - I'm doing my first Puregon shot tonight eeek!

alison - how'd the first jab go?! im usually on around 225-250 puregon & my amh levels are within normal range, so 300 sounds like a good dose for you.

    babymama - yay for af! : )

still crossing fingers for you, minnie. xx

    hi everyone else.

Hi Andie - it was ok, still hurt a little, I thought for some reason being a pen it would be like one of those ones you do to check your blood sugars or whatever they are......I didn't realise it was a full on needle. Hubby is out Saturday night so I'm going to have to do it myself and i'm really scared, I can't even handle the thought. Any tips?????

Is anyone taking Royal Jelly tabs?

babymama: yay for af, i was quoted 75% survival rate for thawing embryos from one scientist and then the other said he thought 6 or 7 from 11

alison: your first needle is done, hope you can manage ok by yourself when you have too

elle: how are you going ?

joe: what are you up to ? waiting on the testing ?

andie: how are things going with you ?

afm: we managed to get 10 biopsied today, i was hoping for double figures so at least i will feel like that is a fair representation of what is left egg wise, I'm terrified of the result though, when you have had all bad before its hard to hope for anything good, can we fast forward time now ?

minnie - That's great news! When do you get the results?

Alison - Yay for jabbing! I hope all goes well. You will be fine without DH - I have only ever done my own injections (through 4 cycles; one particularly nasty OI cycle I injected daily for well over a month) and they are just fine...

babymama - Woohoo for af! Fingers crossed for your thaw and transfer.

    Hi Joe, Andie, Sunbeam...!

AFM - I have had such a crazy cycle. Lots of scans and BTs, hearing a different story during every scan (from different FS's doing the scans at the clinic). Do I have a cyst/s, do I not, etc. My FS was not too concerned about the 1 potential cyst, although she did nearly cancel the cycle due to poor response. However, the 'decider' scan showed good follicular growth and BT results have been great the whole way through, so.... the cycle has continued (YAY!). I triggered last night and EPU is tomorrow morning. I'm nervous but really happy to have made it this far. At this stage, it looks like I might have 6-8 follicles but not too sure. The 1 that was flagged a potential cyst was 37mm at last scan and next to it was 1 at 30mm. The FS doing that scan said I may just have really big follicles and that it wasn't unheard of. Who knows...?! So, fingers crossed for a good number of eggs and lovely fertilisation of the few I do have. PGD is all lined up for the biopsies to happen next Monday (we have our 3 frozen embies to thaw and hopefully join). Eek... it's happening...!

Oh Elle that's fantastic news so exciting, wishing all the luck in the world tomorrow for lots of good googies!!!!

So, do you suggest I just ice the area and stick the needle in quickly? Argh I'm dreading it but I guess it's good to know how to do it in case hubby's not available all the time.

    Hi Girls

Minnie - Come on embies let there be at least one good one

Elle - Yay for no cancellation. Best of luck tomorrow babe I hope you get a lovely basket of eggies

Alison - I have always had to do my own, personally not sure I'd want any one else jabbing me. Tips to make it less painful, I always slap the area a bit first to get the circulation going or you can put an ice cube on the spot first to numb the area a bit. Good luck. Glad to hear things are underway I was on 350iu but I have no idea of my FSH level my AMH was still okay when it tested 2 years ago.

babymama - Yes that would be typical and sort of fantastic if little Nemo arrived at the wedding . I hope AF hurries by so Nemo can get in and snuggle down soon.

    Hi Andie, Joe and Joeve.

Thanks for letting me stay here with you gals

AFM - Well things are starting to move. My potential egg donor today said "YES" . We are going to meet up on tuesday for a chat (I already gave her a full print out of the whole procedure so she knows what is involved). Tomorrow I will book a time with FS so we can go in and get the ball rolling. I've been through too much to get overly excited at this stage and I won't be counting my chickens till 'the eggs are in the basket' but its looking good so far

    Hi girls,

Just letting you know we got 1 good embryo (out of 10 !), transfer went well and now I'm heading home to rest :-)

I'm scared because there is a lot of pressure for it to work out with none in the freezer.

Elle: how was epu ? I hope you are feeling ok

Minnie that's fantastic, sending you lots of sticky vibes!!!!! Good luck!!

AFM - just got my first bloods since starting the Puregon 3 days ago, not a great start, estrogen's sitting at 400, she said they'd like to see it at 800 by this stage but not to worry too much as they'll see how things look at my scan Monday. Not what I wanted to hear, guess it means so far the drugs aren't working which is what they expected. Argh why is everything so hard
