My ovaries were still very sore by transfer day, one in particular, really painful, I think it's all normal, what is going to happen with the cysts ?
oh Elle that is absolutely amazing news congrats!!!! Sending you sticky sticky vibes for this little one, news like that gives people like me hope! Sorry you're having pain though, I am dreading that next week but the FS told me if I've survived 2 D&C's I probably won't notice it any more than those. Here's hoping it settles down for you soon and fx for a BFP in 2 weeks!!! Eeek!
Elle - Whooo so glad you are PUPO and the fact that you have 2 extra is brilliant news I have often been very sore and uncomfortable after EPU I had free fluid in my abdomen and could only sleep sitting up. As J Bear said lots of water will help. Lots of for you.
Alison - I had a few bad reactions to the injections and had a huge welt and rash one morning. It calmed down and was not a problem by the afternoon. Bit scary to see though I know.
AFM - Still have not met up with potential egg donor and now she is not replying to my texts so no idea what is happening there and no energy to fight it!
Sunbeam I'm so sorry to hear ur having problems with ur potential egg donar. I hope that she's just busy & she gets back to u with good news soon xx
Hi Girls - how are we all? Minnie how are you travelling? Sunbeam any news from your donor today?
AFM - gosh I'm so frazzled, my clinic is an hour away in peak traffic so I have had to get up at 5.30 am 3 times this week to get there for a 7am scan and bloods, which is usually more like 7.45 am by the time they get through the list of people! Then I had to hack back and get my daughter to take her to her first 3 year old kindy class, I'm absolutely shattered, these drugs make me sooooo tired! So, frustratingly, I'm still not ready to go in, waiting for confirmation of bloods this arvo but they were hoping to do collection on Monday but it's looking like I'll have to go in MOnday for yet another scan and maybe trigger Monday some time? 2 follies are sitting about 1.5 at the moment. Argh this is so frustrating! I swear my body is going slower than usual, I usually always ovulate on day 12 (today is day 12). Anyway such is life, I think my ovaries have gone into shock with all the drugs as I seem to be responding worse on them than I do on my own!!. I still have 2 good sized follies and 1 small one, I guess the upside is it gives it time to catch up but I'm not banking on it being of any use, it's only .8. I guess 2's better than none, my good friend who has low AMH and high FSH like me only got 1 follie on her first pickup and 2 on her 2nd so I guess it's to be expected.
UPDATE - I'm going in Monday morning for EPU!!!! Trigger tomorrow night. So looks like I"ll only get the 2 follies, I doubt the 3rd will have time to catch up now.

alison - best of luck monday, make sure you rest afterwards. my very first epu, i was feeling fine the next day and went back to work. probably not the best idea, was quite sore by the end of the day and ended up taking the next 2 days off! goodluck.
alison: i can't believe you are nearly at epu already ! how many days of injections have you had ? I hope you have you perfect little one in there
andie: i noticed on another thread you found the sex of your bub, can i ask did the clinic tell you ? i didn't think they were allowed but they all seem to have different rules !

clinic told me the sex, i think bc im pregnant. don't think they would've told me otherwise. certainly wasn't allowed to know prior transfer or anything. when's your BT?

Also I don't know if I didn't hear right or what but I'msure the nurse said to do my injections as usual (which I do at night) and then havemy trigger at 9.30 pm. What would be the purpose of having the orgalutran though if I'm about to trigger or do I not have it? I guess I should ring and clarify!
alison - I had 5000iu pregnyl as my trigger, didn't notice any side effects. I'd ring and check if you're unsure about the orgalutran. I had syranel (instead of orgalutran), taken am/pm with last stim & on day of trigger only had to have morning dose. I have done cycles with orgalutran but can't remember now if I took on day of trigger now... I think I did?! Best to ring & check. ; )
Thanks Andie - the clinic were closed, rather than call the emergency number I rang my cousin who is an ob/gyn at the same clinic and she said to take the Puregon and Orgalutran a couple of hours earlier than usual because I have to trigger at the time I usually take those. She also gave me some hope and said with my circumstances 2 follies are pretty good - how sad huh ha ha! even funnier is she was scheduled on for egg collection that day but swapped out so she didn't do mine, she said "I don't want to look at my cousin's fanny that's just wrong" ha ha ha. Quietly I'm glad
