IVF with very high FSH?

Hi,

Quick update from me, first scan yesterday put a smile on my face, 8 follicles between 6 and 12mm, next scan tomorrow. So it looks like I am responding quite fast and should have some eggies after all

Compared with last time at much lower FSh it loks so far a little better. So glad we did procede with the IVF, can still mean the follies don't have eggs or won't mature but now it's all in the hands of the gods.....

Thats really fantastic news Sara Im absolutely thrilled for you. Gives me a lot of hope for my next cycle which Im hoping to start when next AF arrives. You are doing an antagonist is that right? I will have my fingers crossed for your nxt scan. And to think all those follies with a FSH of 15! I am soo happy for you and will be closely watching your progress cheering you on from the sidelines. Best of luck

Hello to everyone else, CP, Tigga and BDT I hope things are all well with each one of you

AFM- I had my FSH tested today even though Im not cycling this month just so I know where its at as Ive been taking organic wheatgrass for probably about 4 weeks now. Ill know the number on fri. Have an appt with the FS on tues 7th april and Ill be hoping to start an antagonist with 600iu FSH when AF arrives late April. So thats where Im at ATM very eagerly awaiting AF, getting a little impatient but trying to keep that in check.

Things are still lookign fine with me can't believe it, scan showed six follies between 10 ands 15mm, 10 in total.

Hi Dutchie, thinking of you and wishing you all the best for your coming cycle, I hope your FSH level is looking good and responding to all the work you have been doing with your wheatgrass etc. BOL

Tigga, not long to go now, hope AF arrives on time and GL with your scan next week.

AFM, due to slow follie growth my FS put my scan back to tomorrow (Thur) so I will know then whether this cycle is a goer, praying it is so, I think perhaps the fact that she dropped me back to 75FSH is the reason, I guess my magic number really is 100. So hoping these few extra days will let the smaller ollies catch up, hopefully EPU on Mon.

Hope everything is going well with you also. Wishing you buckets of luck for your cycle aswell. Good luck with your upcoming scan and BT on the 7th. My appt with FS is the 7th also (to get the "go ahead") so hopefully we'll both have some great news to share.
I noticed you on another forum and remember reading from your post that you were curious as to whether anyone else had experienced "symptoms" they believed were related to their high fsh. This quite intrigued me as it had never occurred to me before, but I will definitely be taking note next time I know my fsh is elevated to see if I notice anything new or not normal for me that could be high fsh related.Hmmm. Hope I made sense,

Geez! We're a busy bunch next Monday and Tuesday. EPU's, BT's, FS Appts...hopefully by Wednesday there's good news being shared all round!!! (I also always say, even if it's not so great news...sharing it on this thread helps, b/c everyone can totally and really understand and empathise...hard to find that kind of understanding anywhere else so thanks for the updates!)

Sara69 - 10 follies! WTF! You have just raised my hope 10-fold!! I've got everything crossed for 10 good healthy eggs. That would certainly put a smile on my face...WOW, that's just ace...I'm so happy for you! Yay!

Dutchie80 - I hope Friday's FSH result is a good one for you! (Is it a Day 3 of AF test?). I will await to hear result and will have fingers and toes and anything else crossed for you!! Yeah, my symptoms are a particularly foggy head and restless (kind of achy) legs from knees down...of course there's no scientific evidence, but each time it's high - I've been really aware of these symptoms. I've got my BT on Tue, but I'm expecting FSH to be low-ish because FS has had me on the contraceptive pill now for 3 weeks in lead up to cycle - evidently this will lower my FSH. How good would it be if both of us could take this journey side by side. Fingers crossed we both get green-light xxx

BDT - Good luck with your scan. I too will be that this cycle is a goer for you!! It's about time you got a break!! You deserve it...we all do!
