Lou, all my natural FETs were done with no LP support, but I think most clinics like to give some form of LP support anyway. After I took drugs to induce ovulation, I just had blood tests until they detected an LH surge, and then booked me in for transfer on the appropriate day.

Lou my FS is Lyndon Hale. Who are you with?

DD was from the first batch and that was the same batch we had the loss with.
It was a very good OPU. Our subsequent cycle and ETs have not been the best with the quality of eggs once thawed not being optimum.

I haven't been doing this as long as you girls...what is a flare or antagonist cycle? I am wnating to discuss options with FS at our next meeting.

BW I wa the same with my Natural FETs - just had blood tests until I surged...and then booked in for the ET.

Flare cycle is no pill but down reg with spray only? im thinking ?

And antagonist cycle is no pill no spray so no down reg at all just jabbing from CD 2 or 5 or something after af

I have a friend with Lydon she thinks he is great. Im now with Tsaltas

HI Folks...Been lurking for a bit licking my wounds but just have to say that's ace Hope....Lyndon is my specialist too...awesome awesome man!!

Thanks for your lovely pm Lou, I have just been lurking mostly trying to deal with the events before christmas.
Long story short...we found out on Dec 23rd why our little one hadn't made it.....it had a condition called triploidy which basically means that there were three of every chromosome in there...not justone or two but the whole damn lot!! Hubby says I never do anything by halves!
The most common cause of this is if two sperm fertilise the egg at exactly the same time so hubby has been given insructions to give his boys a stern talking too about taking turns and not being so greedy!
We went to pencil in for another PGD cycle for March but apparently they are so booked out we have to wait till the April cycle to get a spot..bugger. The nurse did say thatthey were getting a few cancellations due to the financial crisis so maybe we might be able to snaffle a spot earlier but no guarantees.

and as Lyndon said we can always try naturally after all we just had a natural miracle and with the curette making things super friendly down there we might just get lucky in the meantime.....here's hoping!

Ahh thanx Lou. Probably not the best options for me. Down reg is to get me sorted and then the spray gets my ovaries happening so .... would be good to miss the synarel spray I hate that.

I do have total faith in everything Lyndon does and says, he's such a nice Specialist. No complaints here.

BG I do remember you from when I was first on BB.

Melbel - hopefully a spot will come up earlier figners x'ed.

I can understand why the PGD is booked - they are the most amazing team of specialists to do what they do...wow. I think I was reading in the latest MIVF newsletter about their results and its very good.

Mel - you know you have had me a little worried. The last time i was a PM i saw you post with your news, but then didnt know what happened, im so sorry xx DH S being greedy! I am agreeing with Lyndon, the D&C should help and praying for you it is just what you needed for another natural miciral. I am amazed about the waiting list for PGD, i didnt even realise there would be one. That sucks. so will the nurse let you know if there is a canaillation or do you just have to call first day of AF and hope? i guess its a hard thing to time (if your as un regular as me that is)

My last FS recommended PGD as i had had so many failed cycles, but will get through what we have frozen then discuss again with new FS

They are supposed to ring sometime in January and comfirm things then for April...will then have abetter idea on the chances of doing a March pickup. also beacuse we are doing an antagonist cycle and Lyndon has specifically said they cannot use the pill at all to synchronise dates as he wants maximum egg quality, it makes it a bit tricky for their planning.......usually I have a spoton 28 day cycle and here's hoping that continues otherwise scheduling could be interesting!
