Yep I'm thinking of you heaps too Keen - are you still staunchly resisting the peesticks??
LOL at the karaoka Sheree - the only time I've ever sung karaoke was at 4am in the morning, completely written off and I choose Guns n Roses "Sweet Child O Mine". OMG - I still cringe thinking about how bad I was!!!
-
I can see you lurking Sushee, how did your scan go?
-
An update from me: E2 rising nicely, I'm close to trigger but have another US and BT tomorrow - to be sure. I'm on holidays with my parents for the next week or so, so I may be MIA. All the best ladies.
-
Good luck Sheree, I hope this time is really successful for you. :luck:
-
Hi everyone
Yes, all the best Sheree. Make sure you get spoiled well and truly by your folks. Hope you'll still be able to pop in every now and then to keep us up to date!!
How are you going Keen? Not long now..... 2 more sleeps.......
Hi Blue, how are you travelling? Must be getting close to finishing another assignment?
Hi Trish, Bee, Anney, Sushee, and anyone else popping in. Hope you're all well.
Wanna hear my news? Drum roll......
My clinic phoned this afternoon at 3.30. One of their couples requiring donor sperm has cancelled their cycle. So.....
I have a donor
They put me to the top of their list because of my age and have reserved 1 straw for me. It is a different donor who had also reached his pg limit.
So, I kick off my flare ICSI on around 16th October.
I am over the moon and only stopped doing little puddle ups about 30 minutes ago.
Yeeeehaaaaaaaaa :happy4u:

Hi Guys,
Sheree great news on your E2 levels! Bee, when are you due to start FSH? Or have you started already?
yes, I was lurking! You caught me! The scan went well, with good results for the Down Syndrome screening. An amnio is not being recommended, which is excellent as I wouldn't have agreed to one anyway!
I've missed you guys today, I tell you what! Been hanging out to hear how you all went! Particularly you, Sheree, with your E2 levels, and also to see if there were any updates on your donor, Sue.
And I was hoping to hear from one other person, you know who you are....
Will be checking out the other threads for a little bit - gotta get my BB fix before picking DH up. Be back soon!

OMG Sue - THAT'S AWESOME!!!!
I'm so happy for you. We shall be pretty close in our cycles too. YAY! BTW what's a puddle up - does that mean you wet your pants?
-
:chairfall: Puddle up means crying. I think I got that from the Beverley Hillbillies. Although, atm, I'm surprised I haven't wet my pants. Jumping around so much. My rough calc is that my OPU will be 3rd Nov. But, they only do their OPU's one day a week so it may be the 10th if I don't respond well (like last time). Although, didn't do a flare last time so hope my ovaries will behave a bit better this time.
Thanks for all the nice wishes ladies.

WAY TO GO SUZIQ! That is fantastic news!!!
Sushee, first down reg scan next Wednesday so will start then I guess. God, this cycle feels like it has taken forever ](*,)
-
Keen,
Good luck, fingers crossed for you
Ann
-
Hey Ann, good to see you popping in...
Hope you're doing ok.
Have you made any decisions on your little embie??
Sue
-
Hello? Where are you all?
How are you feeling Keen? I'm sending you lots of positive vibes for tomorrow..... [-o<
How are the family Sheree? You're being spoiled I hope.
Hi Sush, I know you're there.
Hey Blue, you travelling ok? Any closer to AF arriving? She's bloody hopeless, so to speak.
Hi Trish, Bee, Ann, Anney and anyone else, hope you're all looking forward to a nice, relaxing weekend.
I phoned the clinic back today to ask all the things that I didn't in my excitement yesterday. The nurse isn't sure why the donor isn't available now? Don't suppose it matters. I only have 1 straw..... A flare cycle sounds nice and quick. Anyone else out there had one? Were the side effects more pronounced? I didn't have any on my long protocol cycle.
Hope there's someone lurking about who'll pop in and say

 Sue!
I'm always lurking! Lol! So quiet in here though, everyone must be going their on happy little way!
Okay Sue, so you start stimming on the 16th? Is that when AF is due?

sushee
-
Hey Sushee, you're lucky you can get in here at work - I can't. Tried the other day and got the message from our mailmarshall "you have tried to access a pornographic site and your attempt will be recorded". Hmmm.
Yep, AF is due 15th or 16th. Start Synarel 4 sniffs a day on CD1. B/T CD2, Puregon CD3 (changed from Gonal-f). So, I have to go to the clinic next week (sh*t - it's only next week!) to get my drugs, oh and to pay of course!! Puregon for around 10 - 14 days. Did you have side effects that were any different from a long protocol cycle?
I just had another donor offer on EB. This was from a woman. She and her hubby have finished their family and he wants to donate? The generosity of some people is really amazing. I had one loony, but I was expecting that! I've become so blase about sperm/egg/embee donation now I forget sometimes that a lot of people are still shocked by and don't really understand it. Especially how hard it is to initially make the decision whether to live your life without a child or to be a donor recipient.
How is everything going with you? Glad you got a good result
yesterday. 12 weeks already - time flies!
Take care
Love
Sue

Hi everyone!
Suz - donors and recipients must go on the rollercoaster of all rollercosters!! I admire your strength and your spirit!!
Keen - best wishes for tomorrow pet, I'll be rubbing puppy feet and [-o< and doing bubba dances and sending :bluestick: your way!! Hope you're doing okay.
Bee - hope time flies by for you sweetie!
Trish, Sush, Ann - hi!
Hope you have a nice relaxing weekend everyone.
I have the weekend without DH so puppies and I are running amok. Ok, so puppies are on the couch and I'm procrastinating from doing assignments... as usual!!
take care

:chairfall: Ah Blue, you always make me laugh.
Hope you have lots of "me time" things planned for this weekend. Like, forget the assignments for at least a little while, bludge, watch chick flicks, bludge, eat naughty stuff, etc etc etc.
Enjoy!

Good morning, I'm back again, don't post much when I'm at work.
A big YAH for you Sue, that's great, & so close. Good they bumped you up the list. I bet a week ago you didn't think you'd be going in to get your meds!!!
Blue, hope you do enjoy your weekend, toss the assignments aside for at least a while.
Bee, glad your cycle is moving along
Trish, not long to go now, time flies
Keen, will be posting congrats later on!
Ann, Anney thinking of you too.
Sush, great scan results.
My BT & Scan showed everythings on track for ET next Friday, yucky pessaries started this morning, already dampened my mood.
Take care & enjoy your weekend, we have nice weather back again, need a spirit riser, sick of winter.
-
Hi everyone
*Tam*, glad everything's rolling along as it should. Not long to go now for you. Good to see you back here!
Keen, hope you're going ok? Missed you in here yesterday!
Sorry about the short post, I just woke up? Blimey, day's half gone and I've got a hole to dig and a tree to plant.
Hope you're all well and have a relaxing weekend. Study break time Blue, take an hour off.

Hi all,
thought I'd post in this in here too:
I'm am so so sad to let you all know that Keen's cycle did not work this time. She's asked me to let you know on her behalf.
She will need some time to herself, and to decide what happens next for her and her DH.
You know we love you, Keen, and will be waiting for your return when you're ready.
love
sushee
-
Thanks for letting us know Sushee. This just plain s*cks.
Keen, I know there isn't anything I can say atm that will make you feel better. :hugs: . I'm so sad for you - sometimes - too many times - the world is cruel and unfair.
Spend as much time railing at the fates and crying. When you've finished - do it again.
Take as much time as you need getting your head back to a better place. But, please remember, we're here for you and will be looking forward to seeing you pop your head in when you're ready.
Take care of your heart.
Love
Sue
-
Thanks Sushee.
Oh Keen you poor petal - I am so so sorry. Take care of yourself and DH. My heart breaks for you

Keen so sorry for you today, take care of yourself & have some quality time with DH.
Thinking of you.
And all of you lovely ladies in here.
How are you going Sheree, what's the latest update, hope time is going well with your visiting family.
-
Keen - I'm so sorry. It's just not fair.
Thinking of all you girls in here ... I've been MIA for a while due to work so just catching up on some posting. Wishing all of you going through a cycle the best of luck. I'll be back in about a week when the madness abates.
Love,
Mel

Keen, I was soooo hoping to log on here today and hear good news about you. So very sorry for you and DH. BFNs can "grate" on your soul and wear you down. But when the initial pain has subsided I hope that you have lots of people to support you, no matter your decision. I hope to chat with you soon.
PS my follie numbers have dropped and I have EPU tomorrw, not very hopeful. I think #16 just might break me :-$
-
=; No negative talk before EPU Sheree. I just made a new rule.
When you say numbers dropped, how many are there now?
It only takes one healthy egg... Quality no quantity remember.
Having said that, I know what it's like to feel your optimism sliding.
You'll be fine, I have everything crossed for you tomorrow.
Let us know how you go if you can.
Love
Sue
-
Popping to wish you all the best for EPU tomorrow Sheree
I have been thinking about you and knew it was close
-
Hi all,
Hope you've had a good weekend.
Sheree - good luck tomorrow, I hope it all goes well. Will be thinking of you. :crossfingers:
Sue - how are you? Another day down.. when do you start sniffing/jabbing? (Sorry if you've said already)
Tam - pessaries suck dont they! Oh well, as long as they get the job done.. Good luck for Friday!
Good to hear from you Mel. Hope you get a breather from work soon!
Mondays rock around way too soon dont they!! ](*,) (Especially when you havent finished your assingments... #-o )
Hope you all have a great week.
Cheers

 Hey Blue, what's new?? AF yet??? Maybe she's finished with you....
Supposed to start sniffing on weekend (when AF is due). But, it feels like it's closer than that atm. Start jabbing 2 days later.
Hi everyone.
Sorry for the short post, am st*ffed - gardener's arms and back. :flower:

Sorry to hear about your shoulder & back Sue! I always get a sore back after a long session of gardening. Doc says it's because my hammies are too tight 8-[ . I hope AF arrives on time for you and bids you farewell for ohhh, around 9 months or so!
AF hasn't showed her ugly head here yet. I dont mind - it kinda puts off having to make the decision whether to do the FET this cycle or not!! (Hopeless huh!!)
Hope your shoulder & back get better soon!
Cheers
