Sheree,
I hope I haven't missed you, though by now I imagine you're already at Concept, but want you to know that I'm sending the biggest good karma vibrations I can your way.
Hello everyone else! Must go around and catch up on where everyone's at before attempting personals. A bit scatterbrained today, would have forgotten my own head if it wasn't stuck on!

Sheree, thinking of you today. Use your support people all you can.
Take care
Hope the waiting is moving a bit faster for everyone else.
I'm sorting out my plans for Friday, trying to arrange it so DH will be with me (he hasn't yet), Maybe that'll be the change we need. Also think maybe he won't feel so removed from it all.
He said something the other day about a break next month, but I'm working on that, saying wait until December/Christmas/New Year.
Of course hoping I won't have to anyway.
Out to enjoy a sunny day
Take care

Hi lovely ladies :D
First of all, Keen, if you pop in for a look :hugs: . If not, we look forward to seeing you back soon.
Sheree, good luck for today!!
Hi to Tam, Sue, Sushee, Blue and everyone else. Hope you all have a great day.

On a lighter note ladies, if you think the pessaries suck, you are putting them in the wrong place!!!

Sheree - hope all went well today.
Thanks guys for all your thoughts and hugs - much appreciated and really does help.
Was my birthday today - such crappy timing! But I have a wonderful DH who makes it all a little easier.
A friend actually bought me a little pair of baby shoes as a pressie and i didnt have the heart to tell her...

Oh Keen, that must have brought you undone. Pack them away for now - you'll be using them soon enough. Good (?) to see you back. So, now, let's hope the next year for you will be better. Hope you'll start to feel a little better soon. One step at a time matey. :)
Sheree....where are you and how did you go? Everything is crossed and it's b*ggering up my circulation.
Hey Blue, nearly out of assignment land yet? I know that waiting to cycle again is a drag. It'll be your time before you know it.
Ann - :chairfall: your pessaries comments. Yuk. Groan, what a thought. I'm clearing my throat as I type this.
*Tam* there is a lot to be said for having a break. Especially over summer. Maybe just try to have some relaxation time + you can grog on at Christmas time.
Hi Trish, Bee, Sush (who's probably lurking), and anyone else who's out there.
I started my usual pre-menstrual-for-4-6-days spotting today. So, AF's not far away. Right on cue as it's been for the last 31 years. Oh god, now I really feel old. I'm so an*l, I can remember the day I got my first AF. 24/5/74. I was 11 and had no idea what was happening. I can still feel that sick feeling, thinking I was dying and so embarrassed on the school bus!!
Love
Sue

Gosh Sue =D> I can't even remember
those dates just block out of my mind
Hope you had a good result Sheree
Keen - :happybday: hope you DH gave you a special day to remember

Happy birthday Keen!! Hope you had a great day and that you got spoilt rotten!! :blowcandle:
Sheree - hope all went well for you today pet.
Ann - LOL.. 8-[
Tam - :crossfingers: for Friday. Hope DH can make it for you.
Sue - I remember my first AF too - on holiday and staying at a motel with the folks just before I went on a camp...
Cheers

Hi all,
my first AF arrived at 9 and an 1/2 years of age and I thought I had the runs! My mum discovered me scrubbing my knickers frantically in the bathroom on the fourth day and had to break the news to me! Lol!
Keen, glad to see you back on BB my sweet.
Sheree, :crossfingers: that all went well yesterday.
Suzi, blue, ann, Bee, Tam et all :grouphug: I just started work and therefore have just clocked on for my thread lurking!

Hi Ladies and thanks for your wishes. We had EPU yesterday and got 6 eggs, so we find out the fertn rate this afternoon. And then the wait. By thurs we have to decide to do PGD or blast. I'm leaning to just going blast and actually getting to ET!!!! But I'm exhausted and sick of all this ivf/TTC stuff. We will probably give it a break over summer, so that we can enjoy life for a change.
Tam good luck for Friday.
I can't remember my first AF :-#
-
Sheree - hoping for 100% fertilisation for you
hope you are feeling okay after EPU
-
Thanks Trish and the other lovely ladies here.
Well out of the 6 eggs 5 were deemed suitable for ICSI, and all 5 fertilised. But we have daily "numbers" to deal with until Friday!!!!!!
-
Hey Sheree, that's pretty good so far!! I'm hopeless at maths, but it's close enough to 100% I reckon. Sounds like you're on a nice, steady track. =D>
Hi everyone else, especially you Sush-lurker. Groaning at your 1st AF story. 4 days and you didn't say anything? Wrong colour for the runs! Oooops, tmi. Sorry.
Hope you're all doing well.
Love
Sue
-
Hey, I was only 9 and a bit! What did I know? Lol!
Sheree Woooooooohooooooo (like I said in my email) I know you've got a few days to go yet, but this has got to be a good sign!

Great news Sheree
so are you going for blasts this time round ?
I read your PGD stats - heartbreaking you never got to transfer
that is amazing they found so many different abnormalities - how accurate are they ?
I have only read a little bit on PGD - I know so little.
HI Sue - are you home already
-
OK Sush, settle petal.
Hi Trish. Yep, as a rule, I work 7.45 - 4 (aim to anyway). Yep, came home and had a bit of a play in the garden. Best post-work activity I can think of (atm anyway...)
How are you going? I know I read it in the other forum but brain is overloaded (age). When do you start sniffing?
Love
Sue
-
Trish - yep PGD sucks generally, that is why we haven't made up our mind whether to do just blast or go ahead with PGD. We have to make up our minds tomorrow afternoon because they would be doing the PGD biopsy Thursday morning!
-
Sheree - that is an awesome fertilisation rate sweetheart! Seems you got some strong little uns there - dont envy your trying to make that decision, can definitely understand your wanting to at least get to ET... :-k
Sush - poor you and your first AF. I dont remember mine exactly - as in my reaction - but I do know that I was 10, and the second time they came I was away at school camp  .
-
Hi Keen. How are you going? Thinking too much, trying not to think, thinking anyway....
Take care of your heart.
Love
Sue
-
hey Sue, thanks. Im just doing what we have to - coping and moving right along.
when is everything happening for you? Must be getting excited!
-
Sheree, yah for you. Here's to the next few days & hoping for success & ET whatever way you decide
Seems everyone is going well, which is good to hear
I'm just twiddling my thumbs for Friday, feeling a bit sick so hoping it all goes before ET
And no idea of my first AF, I remember it was later than my mates so it was one of those things that everyone else has & you don't.
:-k Kind of like now with a baby!
Take care guys

Watching All Saints at the moment & there's a lady who's ended up being allergic to FSH after a year of IVF (her dose was upped this last cycle). They showed a bit of the emotional side of it, but I think they overdid the psycho woman a bit. it was sad that in the end she has to stop.
Sometimes makes me wonder what other people think (not saying that it bothers me!)
If this cycle doesn't work, it's up to 1 year for us.
-
Sheree, that sounds all good so far. I'll have my fingers crossed for you all week. (Makes typing a bit slow though... :D )
I got my first the night before the school athletics carnival in year 8. I was 13. I remember crying and crying because how on earth could I win races with a mattress shoved into my pants! I remember my mum told me I was "one of the girls now".
I've got my down reg scan today so hopefully start injecting soon. I'm going to tell Dr that I don't care if he puts me in hospital, I want lots of follies this time (of course, as long as I come OUT of hospital!). With respect to you guys that go through all this and end up with nothing, going through this and only getting a couple of shots is very disappointing. Will see what reaction I get...
-
Where is everyone??
Well, I start 225 GonalF tomorrow which is the dose I finished last pick up. Just between us... I'm quietly excited about jabbing myself again... 8-[
-
Excellent news Bee, you should be excited, good on you.
-
Yay Bee,
I know that after a long wait to start your cycle, it is exciting to start the injections again. I know that sounds strange, but I soooo understand how you feel. Like you're finally moving along again!
love
sushee
-
GOODLUCK Bee - it is exciting
I start in 2weeks and this is more fun than sniffing - that s*ucks (I am doing it right way - but 12 hrs interval was a real struggle
-
Hi everyone
Good on ya Bee. Tell that doc what you want - you're paying him (heaps) to provide you with a service. Almost typed service you then but had second thoughts.
Hi Trish, glad you're sniffing and not sucking. Public loos - yuk.
Glad you're moving on with things Keen. It's hard but it's harder to try and dig yourself out of a hole if you bury yourself!!
How's the decision making going Sheree? I have to admit to being a bit ignorant about PGD. Ah, what the hell, go to blast.....
Hi Blue (where are you??), Sush, *Tam* and anyone else about, hope you're all well.
I got my meds today. And paid. Have changed from Gonal-f to Puregon and Synarel to Lucrin (that's what I used to take). So, more jabs but didn't like the idea of 4 sniffs a day. Like you Bee, I'm looking forward to it too in a strange way. Hopefully, I'll kick off my flare cycle this weekend....
My flippin' mower man just mowed over a baby lavender I've been nursing for 2 weeks after my niece stood on it. PMT week - he copped a blast :smt021 Lucky he's a good sort. Don't get excited, he's married and I work with him.
Love
Sue
-
Sue - LOL re mower man and PMT. Onward and upward hey for the next cycle - are you excited?
We only had 2 good embies so the embriologist said that PGD wouldn't be worth it ($1950 just for the PGD on top of everything else). Also she said that the abnormalities dectected last time were normal in that they wouldn't get me pg - y c part of the problem with abnormalities are those that early m/c. So we are now in the hands of the gods - as they say.
-
Well Sheree, hands of the gods have to be the best hands to be in!!!
Me - Excited? Yes. Having second thoughts? Yes. Positive? Yes. Realizing it is the right thing to do and I'm not too old so no need for second thoughts? Yes. ](*,) Negative? Yes. And on it goes!! But, actually I'm feeling fine. A lot more laid back about it than I was years ago. Have realised over the past 4 years of not trying at all (no partner) that there really are other things in life. But, we all have to find that out for ourselves - took me an awfully long time. I would never ever give that out as advice though - so don't take it that way!!!
Mower Man? Yes, he's always good to vent at. A great buddy and can take it without getting all 'affected'.
Love
Sue

Good afternoon
Bee, good to see your cycle starting. It seems like ages that I've jabbed myself, the bliss of FET. Here's to lots of follies
Sue, soooooo close, go girl, go girl
Trish not far for you either
Gee there'll be heaps of action going around.
Sheree, all go for transfer, let's see what we can do. I'm hoping for a double whammy for us two.
Sush, hope that baby warming is going well, can't wait to see that belly again. Might need some belly rubs to keep positive for the TWW.
I've been in bed sick today & hoping to get rid of it before the ET, don't want to start off on the wrong foot.
Take care ladies
-
Sheree - that is good news about your two strong ones! You must be happy that they didnt encourage the PGD especially when they didnt feel it would likely make a difference - here's to your strong bubs grabbing on tight for the long ride - so when is your ET? They will be blasts wont they? Very very excited and hopeful for you my sweet.
Sue - I hope you sure did let the mower man have it. Poor little plant. Good sort, hey? Not like the one of Desperate Housewives??
Tam - you look after yourself and get better, ya hear!
Sush - it is really funny that even though I know your name I cant bring myself to call you anything but Sush. Just doesnt seem right!
Im now waiting for the next cycle I suppose - worked out probably start about 30 October...
-
ET is tomorrow Keen, with 3 day old embies - better in me that the dish apparently. I'm jumping at it, not getting to ET the last couple of times has been tuff. But I'm a tad apprehensive as my last transfer ended in an ectopic. We have a new doctor so hopefully he will not put it close to my fallopian tubes this time!!! Thanks for your kind words and thinking of me. I really hope that your little wait (I bet it doesn't feel like a little wait though!) goes quickly. It sounds like you are in better spirits.
Let's hope that we ALL can't drink for Xmas and New Year because we are ALL pg - I would drink to that if I could LOL.
-
I'll be in that plan with you Sheree - for sure!
Am happy to hear you are going to get to ET this time - at least once they're in you can be sure you are taking good care of them :) . When will your beta be?
I know this month is now going to drag on for me - but one thing I have gained through all this is the ability to wait.... and wait... and, well you know!
-
wishing you the very best Sheree [-o<
