Hi Keen and all of the other lovely ladies here,

Ms Ruhl gave hubby some herbs to help improve his sperm, as he has 100% abnormal sperm. It was funny though, after Ms Ruhl wanted to know all about our failed IVF attemps, she asked me if I felt the cold, which I do, unless it is like 35 degrees, I'm cold. After telling her that all of our embryo's are "text book Embyies" (as the Dr's keep teling us), she said that I have a cold uterus, with poor circulation, and thats why embyies fail to implant! Now thats something I have never thought of before, but hey makes sense to me. So we will keep taking the herbs, and I have some cream to rub in and hopfully one day we will be pg. Next FET transfer is 28th Nov, this is our last IVF cycle. Ms Ruhl did ask us to give her herbs a try for at least 3 months after this last cycle.

I look at it this way, it can't hurt, and you never know!

    Luv to all

Good luck sweets. She is so good isnt she?? I was there yesterday and I always feel better once ive been to her office, especially when girls are calling to say they are pg. Ive seen so many of them with my own eyes and I cant wait for us to have our turn to call her and tell her we have bfp's. Well she will be in qld next week and wants me to call her on her mobile if im *late* - oh sweet is that. Good luck with the herbs and remember as bad as they might taste - its all worth it. Are you using the ones you have to take in vodka shots??

It was really strange, since I was taking the herbs(with vodka) I wasn't sleeping, my day would start at 2.30 am, no kidding! I just put it down to the stresses of life etc...

Antonia asked me on Monday if I had noticed any differences since taking the herbs, I said no except for the fact I can't sleep past 2.30am, it was the herbs so now I take them in the am (as a tea) and I sleep like a... wait for it ... a baby!

DH takes three lots of herbs.

I must say when we were there a lady rang to say that she was pg.

PS Oh Lisa I hope you are late, IYKWIM

The first session with her DH got the buzz, I didn't. Second session I buzzed like a bee!

I don't hold out much hope for a +ive from our next FET cycle, but for some strange reason, and I don't know why I do feel that we will get what we want some time in the near future, and I haven't felt this way in such a long, long time!

Ann - I take mine at night and it makes me sleep like a baby!! I felt full of hope to with Antonia and I know that she will help me achieve my dream of motherhood so Im not as stressed about ttc anymore. I hope im late too, but not too hopeful of a bfp this month, maybe next month!

Lou - you can always have just one visit to talk to her and learn more about what she does, there is no obligation to go on the program but it will cost $120 for the first visit.

The "buzz' is your body's own electromagnetic energy that she stimulates during your visit, and when she touches you you vibrate!! It really is amazing, and the more buzzing the better, it means your body is in balance.

Wishing all you wonderful women in this thread a bfp really soon

    hi all
still here and waiting. I've been snifffing for a week and just finished the pill on wednesday and now waiting for AF to turn up. Going for first scan next friday to make sure all is quiet down there.

How long after you guys stopped taking the pill did it take for AF to kick in? It feels like it wants to start, but nothing yet.

Other than that nothing to report. Surprisingly have coped better than I thought so far with the lack of hormones. My body is so sensitive normally - so was worried that I would be all over the place. Sure that will change when I start injecting - which should be after next weeks scan - fingers cross . Then I will feel like we are getting this show on the road!!!!

Good luck everyone else and keep smiling
    take care

Hello ladies I hope everyone has had a great week and has an even better weekend!!

    Tam- Hugs to you honey.

Ann- great news on your visit with Antoina. Sound good mate!

Odette- great news on starting your Cycle. Sending you heaps of baby dust!

Loua- how are you doing? (I think I have missed were you are up to. tired but trying to catch up since being away!)

    Keen- how are you doing?

Shazld- I am so sorry to hear of your last cycle. But excellent new of being able to junp right into your next. Sending you heaps of babydust too.

Thanks Loula and MElbel for your replies. I think my mind was racing when I was typing out my post. I was diagnoised with POCS in 1997. I was put on Metformin then and it made me really sick. So I stopped taking it. then with the first appointment at FS in 2002 I tried again and again it made me really ill. Then in 2004 when I started IVF my FS sujested to break a tab in half and start of a night. ( I had only ever been told to take in the morning prior to this) anyway that sort of worked. gave me heaps of side affects but I think due to giving up work i could cope better. So I have been on them since 2002. the only times I have not taken them is after epu. as I have come home and not eaten. and I have to eat when taking them or I am really sick. and once I miss one I am on the toliet the entire next day and cant cope with that right after epu. anyway found out only in feb this year that that could contribute to the M/C. My thoughts were just what one of you said. I know that Diabetics can do IVF and carry babies. Now if I am just insulan resistant why cant I? After leaving the sp I just have heaps of thoughts running through my mind. I would love to have myt levels be under 10 and not have POCS.( who wouldnt?) Also my Sp has down my metformin to 1000 a day not 1500 I was taking. And that doesnt make sence to me either. I do want to make a GP appointment and go over all my test results over the years so I can have a better understanding of it all. Only I went away now she is away... But as soon as I can that will be my first step. Again thank you for your replies

    Hi Daisy

I hope you had a restful time away so wishing i could be away right now. I dont know if you read my post but my cycle was canciled. spent the night after EPU at Epworth on a morfin drip(sp?) and been taking painkillers at home ever since also taking antibiotics (2 different ones )The pain has eased now.

Went for a scan yesterday and they fornd a blood clot in my left ovary but said my body should absorbe it back again!!! and that i still have blood supply to the ovary.Yay.

Cant you believe this .............get ready for a winge.............My MIL sent me a txt a 8.00am this morning to say i will be seeing you at the birthday party!! Today two of my nephews are celebrating their 1st birthday and i was looking forward to going, but a)im still in a lot of pain, b) My last M/C should also be celebration their 1st birthday this weekend (It was hard enough seeing 2 SIL pg during this time IYKWIM and c)My DH is in Sale working and ill be buggered if im driving myself.

I know i can be a hypochonndriac at the best of times but i think when your waking up with pain through the night while taking Panadin Fort then you have good reason.

Feeling really [email protected]!t at the mo. Why does something always come up and stop me from getting to have a H&H pg?

Daisy - honey hope you get some answers that you can work will really soon... So frustrating having no control over these things isnt it...

Ann - sounds like you are getting very excited and hopeful honey, which I know you havent been like in the years I have known you. Very happy for you. I have a question for you, what happens in the case where women cant drink alcohol? And what is it that the vodka does that helps??

If I am to be completely honest it all sounds a bit 'airy fairy' to me, but hey if either you or Lisa find success, Im sure I'll be going for a visit! I am a very sceptical person though, so its only natural that I wouldnt be sure of something until I saw some 'tangible' success (ie. from someone I trust like you). The whole 'buzz' thing sounds pretty weird! I bet that was a bizarre sensation!

Lou - totally understand how upsetting must be having to celebrate those birthdays when you dont get to celebrate the one you want to. I find it is getting harder and harder to just continue putting on the brave face and pretending its all ok. You do what you need to in order to look after you right now and dont let it stress you out! Tell them Dr Keen says you cant go!

This year has been an absolute shocker for us health wise and TTC wise. Unfortunately my friends dont understand and are busy with their babies/children. I am a little afraid I might slowly lose a few of them. But right now I really have to focus on me and DH and getting us happy, healthy and a step closer to parenthood.

    Good on you Keen

and thank you for your Kind words - i went to the party yesterday feeling very sore but managed to put on that brave face, one more time, I love both the littlie very much and i do see baba's every day (i work in childcare) so it not really that hard i guess.

I dont know if i mentioned the Gyn found a blood clot in my left ovary. she says it should be ok to go straight away again as soon as i get af. this is what i really want to do but is this best?

Its all so emotional your damed if yu dont and your damed if you do!!!IYKWIM?

so true Lou. That blood clot sounds a little concerning. For me I would be getting that addressed first, only because if you are successful you may not be able to have it addressed for the next 9 months and thats when it could be an issue IYKWIM? But it is completely up to you and I know how upsetting it is to have yet another setback!

Either way Im sure you will make the choice that is right for you... which is a b!tch of an answer because it means you have to make that decision, which really sucks!

    Keen,

I agree with you, at first I thought it all sounded a bit weird! But this is our last IVF journey, and then thats it for us. I will try anything, and compared to IVF it wasn't that expensive. We have been TTC for 5 years, and to say the least I'm getting a bit sick of it all.

I don't have the herbs with Vodka anymore, I make a tea, and have it in the mornings.

Hoping everything gets sorted for you Keen, you deserve to get off this ride.

    Luv to all

    Ann
