Hi Chele - keeping everything crossable crossed for you & thanks for the u/s ET info. :bluestick:
Hi SuziQ & Tam- thanks for the info on u/s guided ET - my two ETs so far were just the specialist taking 'pot luck'! I might ask about the u/s option when I'm at the new Clinic next week. Anything that might help is definitely worth it! They can see the fibroids on the internal u/s, in fact they get in the way when they're trying to see my follies! I'm sure the new Dr will want to check them out - I just hope it's fairly good news.
Hi Blue - I guess that's the frustrating thing with fibroids - they can really vary as to the trouble they cause. I guess mine aren't the worst scenario but they're still a big nuisance and do hinder my chance of gretting pregnant.
I think I was a little niaive two years ago when they were first diagnosed. I just assumed they'd whip them out and then I'd get preggers first go - so much for that! Now I'm doing a lot more research into them. I'm taking a couple of natural supplements that might help reduce them - and I changed my diet about three months ago to cut out some of the things that cause them (by producing too much oestrogen). Unfortunately that means things like dairy foods, chocolate, fried fatty foods, sugar, salt and caffeine! Things are never simple are they! But if it helps the fibroids and my fertility then it's definitely worth making the changes.
