Red face New to all of this...

    Hi,

Just got told yesterday that only way of falling pregnant is thru IVF. Very emotional to start off with, but now that I have booked first appointment feel confident that we may one day be parents.

Quick question - I have booked through Next Gen Fertility in Parramatta, was wondering if anyone else has or is dealing with them and the successes you have had?

    Thanks

Can't help with the clinic, but we're gonna be doing our 3rd cycle in a couple of months, so welcome to the rollercoaster that is IVF. You will feel more in control, the more appointments you have, the more you get to know your clinic nurses, FS etc. Andy certainly the more you read on here!! I feel more empowered and confident in what we want now, and that helps. Good luck and welcome

Sorry can't help you re: clinic but just want to wish you luck. Just know the average number of cycles people would need to be successful is 3-4 so be prepared. Anyhow I hope you would get first time lucky as some of the women I know.

    Hi Terri26,

I think someone on this site or another site Im on goes to that clinic. They mentioned it to me and wondered I was attending that clinic. I hope they pop in and read this message.

Just starting on your IVF journey. Yes it is a shock to discover that you need IVF to have a child. My Dh and I cried, got cranky, got upset, got confused, and asked the age old question why us. In the end we are greatful that such a technology exists!

I hope your journey is not long. Ask away any questions you have and Im sure someone on here will be able to answer you.

    Redlady.
